They are intelligent because only the smart jews survived. Jews can fight but they are better subverters, causing the most harm in the safest position.
It has been a while since I read the book and people do not like some of the sources, the more modern ones in particular.

they are an organized minority in a pluralistic western society in which being an organized minority is very effective. gaetano mosca states that "a hundred men acting uniformly in concert, with a common understanding, will triumph over a thousand men who are not in accord and can therefore be dealt with one by one." it is exceptionally easy to see this in the west - where when organized their group are able to outmaneuver the disorganized thousands. furthermore being an organized minority is so ingrained in jewish society from thousands of years of being a transient minority across different societies that they simply are aware of what carl schmitt would describe as the friend enemy distinction, meaning that they don't even need to coordinate in order to be an organized minority - they are willing to put eachother first when it comes to advancement, whether it be college admissions, employment, business opportunities, political organizations, and so on.
fundamentally they act in a way that every other people on the planet *used* to act and still most people in the world *do* act but the liberal, white westerner largely refuses to do. thus they are outmaneuvered by the superior strategy and tactics of the jewish minority in which they're able to hijack the western institutions to their own end. they are perhaps the most effective people in human history at the specific, arguably parasitic methodologies of using the western society - they have turned the whole west into their golem via their immense influence in the united states and the downstream vassalage that the united states has upon the west

this sort of "organized minority" thing isn't necessarily uniquely jewish - it's been done more times than one can count, ex the chinese in much of southeast area, the british empire, the old wasp elite within earlier eras of the usa, the arab caliphates in much of their conquests etc etc. but the jewish people just happen to be the best at the tactics required to succeed in that regard combined with an utter and complete willingness to sabotage their host societies for their own gains
