>Pessoa was a creature of multitudinous consciousness, a solitary, dapper, buttoned-down man with the turbulent soul of a modernist. He occupied a quiet place as a commercial translator and writer for small literary magazines while haunting the cafés of Lisbon, smoking eighty cigarettes a day, and scribbling away in notebooks.

That means that Pessoa smoked five cigarettes per hour, or one every twelve minutes. What was his problem?

I believe cigarettes were created as a means to prove to people that nicotine and tobacco are harmful. Because instead of being normal they inhale it into their fucking lungs with all this added shit. Cigars, pipes, dip, snuff, none of that shit is bad for and is actually helpful for your brain. But the elite did not like this, so they created cigarettes so people will associate tobacco with cigarettes and only cigarettes.

Perhaps European Cigarettes are about 3x smaller than American ones, as it is with coffee and females?
