>>24542357 (OP)Why should you care what anyone has to say? Why should you even care about anything at all? You seem to be tilted specifically against Nietzsche, one of the most influential philosophers of the modern world, either because you tried reading him, couldn't understand, and resorted to aggression to redirect; or because you truly have no interest in philosophy but feel a social pressure to be well-versed in it (which, at the very least, shows you care what other people think).
I'll say you should read Nietzsche (and philosophy in general) if you lack an ability for self-illusion and are old enough (and mature enough) to start asking yourself the truly difficult questions in life. Too many people live their lives never wondering why, lose their sense of purpose at 40 and kill themselves having never truly lived their own life, but the life that someone else prescribed for them. If there is but one thing of value in philosophy, it's to learn to shatter the unseen ideological shackles that society imposes by its very nature.
