None. Boyhood should be spent playing, not hunched over a desk reading books. Thankfully I spent my boyhood playing, sleeping in fields, getting into fights, fishing, hunting with my grandfather, and playing sports. Books are for when you become a teenager. Sorry, I started to reminisce.

Anything heroic. Anything written by HW Tilman. South by Shackleton. This Accursed Land by Mawson.
Anything that shows a boy that the human drive for adventure and survival are the lifeblood of existence.

What kind of "gaming", may I ask?

Related: is the "suburban hell" meme true? Can you still play outside in one of those hot desert Vegas suburbs?

I read some children's books but I never really enjoyed it that much. Then I discovered Dosto and Nietzsch.

Brothers Karamazov. I waited way too long to read Dostoyevsky just because I was intimidated by the size of the books.

You would get more from 5000 hours Latin
5000 hours Athenian Greek and
5000 hours Sanskrit.

My teenage years were the exact opposite of my boyhood years: Inside, alone, reading books all day. I don't regret those years though, they helped me find myself. But even I get to thinking at times on those memories as a boy, and I get lost in them and the pure joy and beauty the world showed me. Thank you for reading my ramblings.
