I was supposed to memorize a tale for english class and tell it in front of the class but i winged it.

It wasn’t meant to be the last one.

Be thankful the guy died, or you would have got what he originally planned:- two stories per pilgrim on the way out and two more on the way home. Thirty pilgrims, so 120 stories.

(I suspect he wanted to do this at least partly to top Boccaccio’s 100.)
