Is he right?
i'm stuck on my ninth spensarian stanza. i sent the first seven to some college professor friends of my late grandpa and they sent it to some of their friends and they're all talking quite glowingly about it. i've put my other two novels and short story collection on hold to give it priority.
>>24550242incredible how bad his takes are, except for shitting on Jacko willings
>>24550056 (OP)Pretty good, just released my third book
>>24550282when are you going to add honor levy to the authors list, lewis?
>>24550275Jocko has better takes than Sam Hyde. Strict adherence to contrarian cynicism doesn't equal intelligence and it certainly doesn't make you cool.
>>24550056 (OP)You don't understand, I NEED to read more books in order to be a good writer.
>>24550355Books are the last place to look for inspo when writing (yes, I know your post was sarcastic)
>>24550370Perhaps there's something similar to be said about Sam's TV shows.
>>24550056 (OP)Would you take tom clancy’s success but always be known as a hack among your peers?
I got a short story published recently, that was fun.

Well... it all started with Charles Sanders Peirce.
It is now currently an algorithm capable of converting any mathematical object across dimensions and between systems (ZFC to string theory, etc.)
Don't do science, kids.
Peace out, /lit/.
>>24550056 (OP)Got a lot of buns in the oven
>>24550262is this true? send a stanza
>>24550056 (OP)Surprisingly good. The trick is to work in a field where what you write HAS to be published. I’m essentially a ghost writer for people with problems. I write a narrative concerning their problems then write about why they should receive deliverance from them—usually in monetary form. The judge gets upset at my use of flowery language though…
>>24550393It depends. Am I just Tom Clancy, having written Tom Clancy books, or Clancyesque books? Or am I famous like Tom Clancy but for my own books? That last one seems pretty good.
>>24550056 (OP)All my ideas are plagiarized. I think I need to go out and get life experience but I am heightcel
