Do you have a reading and/or writing routine, /lit/?

I often see threads on here started by Anons who don't have time to read, can't make time to read, are despondent that they're not reading enough. Why don't you try and make a routine of it? Set aside specific days and times in which to do your reading and writing. That works for me.

For me, I've set aside Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays as my reading days. They're specifically days when I don't work out, so my mind isn't made feverish by the activity of lifting weights or doing cardio. Tuesdays and Thursdays in particular are fasting days for me, days when I eat very little calories, so they're good days for contemplative action like writing and reading.

Just make a routine of it, guys, and then you'll get it done. Deliberately set aside time to read and write. Surely I'm not the only one on here who's figured this out.

Mon-Fri: two hours in the morning, two hours in the afternoon. Morning reserved for non-fiction, deeper stuff: history, philosophy. Afternoon for pleasure reads: fiction, poetry. One hour each book; after one hour write in my journal.

Sat-Sun: only aforementioned pleasure reads.
