Anyone read this book? Apparently it's a fictional story but I do believe satanic ritual abuse exists in the real world with very real victims suffering right now. It's pretty kino Hallowe'en reading, regardless. There are multiple scenes where the satanic coven does multi-day-long rituals in the Ross Bay Cemetery of Victoria, British Columbia (made famous by the Ross Bay Cult black metal scene) which really strongly evoke B-grade horror films and Electric Wizard song lyrics. It's really disturbing, and I would even firmly place it in the category of transgressive literature, but it's an extremely evocative book all the same.

I learned about this book from contrapoints who said it's what started the modern form of satanic panic in the US

And justifiably so, because it does exist. Read The Ultimate Evil.

I haven't read it, but I do know for a fact SRA is real. The motives behind it are actually stranger than one would think, as actually, the practitioners just seek to force a viewpoint where the human being is "intrinsically bad", hence why they target the most innocent to try and corrupt them.
In the end, the abusers are commonly bitter chuds who want a revenge against God and society, and they decide that if they can't be happy then they'll be "powerful" (though they become slaves to Satan's will to achieve such "power").

Well it's a long book and I spent 3 months reading it; I rarely read long books without the help of the audio version, and there was no audiobook of this, so you can guess at how committed I was to it. It's just scandalous trvthnvke after trvthnvke, very similar to Chaos by Tom O'Neill. It gets pretty grim at times but it's absolutely gripping.

Is it that hard to believe? (or search evidence of?). You must be on some massive cope to deny SRA. Read about Jarno Elg.
