Part three of the USA trilogy. I’m about 100 pages in. Pretty much all Charley Anderson so far aside from short biographies of Henry Ford and Frederick Winslow Taylor.

I did tough it out. It can be a bit repetitive and grim though. Definitely not one to read if you’re looking for a book of affirmations.

Maybe I'll take another look at it. I enjoyed the character focused sections but my eyes started to glaze over the headline bits by the midpoint.

Yeah some of the stories did hook me, like the IWW guy in the first book and the sailor/deserter in the second book.
