This book is such a tease. There's so much esoteric knowledge that CS Lewis walks right up to in this book, and then just doesn't expand upon or ever explain by the end of the book.

I liked the first two more. The beginning of Silent Planet because I was expecting something about demon worship and thought Ransom had awoken into some kind of ritual. Then all of Perelandra was the peak of the series, peak scifi worldbuilding and peak Christian fiction with the Eve drama.

I liked the first two as well. Perelandra is probably my favorite. The third is a bit of a mess, but I really wish he'd expanded more on stuff like Merlin and how Merlin could understand things but was part of an order that had a vow not to ever cut anything open.
