What the fuck is the matter with sois and their connected universes? Why do they love them so much? How does claiming that Max Payne, Alan Wake and Control all share a universe enhance the gaming experience? I have no hopes for the upcoming Max Payne remake, it sounds like the slop of the century

I know the concept of "multiverse" is quite overused nowadays, but I believe its coherence and presentation hold more value than in other works of fiction. Max Payne is quite irrelevant here, but this AW-Control-Quantum Break triangle has potential.

I liked The New York Trilogy and The Music of Chance by Auster but haven’t read those 3.
I enjoyed Motherless Brooklyn. Book was better than the movie.
The Secret History was a fun read but it is at least partially responsible for the whole Dark Academia thing.
Lunar Park was pretty funny. But then so were parts of American Psycho so I guess I shouldn’t have been that surprised.
I can’t be arsed to read Murakami or Ishiguro.
