Wittgenstein's Mistress (just about) works as a narrative, but after that, meh. The later books are more valuable as a compendium of interesting factoids than as a straight reading experience. I got Reader's Block, Last Novel & This Is Not A Novel and just cut them up and sorted everything by categories (ARTISTS CRITICIZE ARTISTS / ARTISTS PRAISE ARTISTS / ARTISTS & POVERTY / etc). In this form they're moderately fun and useful.
