I have two ideas for a short story that I'd like feedback on. The first idea is about a world where all old people simply vanished and only young people are left. There's extra money in the budget, house prices are cheap again, and there are open jobs in most areas. But, on the other hand, the world is less experienced, and many old traditions have been lost.
The other idea is about a guy who is transported back in time to the 15th century. He fights with the indigenous people to defend against the European explorers. He wants to create one nation made up of all the tribes. The idea is that they would trade with the Inca, Maya, and Aztecs. This would form a global superpower.
I would appreciate any feedback.

I'd also like a short story about the real consequences of being reincarnated as your former self, retaining all your previous knowledge. It could cover how you'd deal with not being able to speak or interact with other kids during the first years, and how you'd cope with not having the means to change your outcome when you're ready.

First story is Lord of the Flies.

Second story is a white savior narrative which isn't going to work anymore unless your protagonist is an African. He would also have to bring them vaccines against smallpox and vaccinate millions of people all on his own.

All you have here are settings (and not particularly interesting settings)

Anyone who shares yet unrealized ideas in such public settings is not a serious artist

there is no "idea" that is good enough, it's truly all about how the idea is written about and the compelling original characters.

The ideas really don't matter much at all for a story. The important thing is to write the stories and then keep writing more.
