Don Quixote and The Idiot. The Idiot references Don Quixote many times and thematically they are very similar.

I'm currently reading Gibbon's account of the reign of Justinian, and am itching to read Graves' Count Belisarius along with it.
Trouble is, I've still got two more volumes of Gibbon to go, and I really don't need the distraction.
