I don't love Avery Island, but I like it; however, I find ITAOTS incredibly underrated. For me it's like a 2.5/5 album that has been hyped to 5/5 status for no reason.
The music is extremely basic, with most song using only 2 or 3 major chords for no effect other than being as amateurish as possible, and the vocals are consistently both off tempo and off key, which is something insane in of itself. On Avery Island is actually pretty competent musically and he even sings decently most of the time. I blame p4k for the overration desu
