How much profanity is artistically acceptable? From which sorts of characters is it fine to swear with? Is the answer "None at all, and use silly made up cyberpunk swears like "frag" and "schlock?"

You shouldn't be writing if you can't understand why a certain person chooses to swear or why they wouldn't. To even ask this question reveals a lack of interest in observing and considering humanity. And who would want to read anything from a person like that?

i have zero profanity in my book, i think it shows a lack of creativity that the only way to express emotion is by cursing
