Anybody else read this?
Book 1 instantly had me hooked
Book 2 was a bit of a drag since it was mostly setup
Book 3 was great from start to finish
Book 4 sucked

Overall I think this series was a great read and I'd recommend it to anyone who liked Harry Potter or anyone who thought Harry Potter sucked but liked the magic school setting.

Well, I haven't read the "books" as i followed the webnovel for years. What did you hate, the ending, Zorian usurping himself? Their solution to the loop, zach?

I mostly disliked that the identity and character of Red Robe was extremely underwhelming and thought his "plan" to be nonsense. With all the setup and knowledge we gathered I guess I expected something more clever, or more petty.
Also everything was kinda sidestepped with the Wraithbomb threat.

Additionally I feel like both the Witch and the Lich acted out of character to make the final battle happen as it did. The Witch because she wasn't ruthless enough and the Lich because he just brushed the threat of the Angel extermination off.

>the ending
Didn't hate the ending per say but I dislike how we got there.
>Zorian usurping himself?
I thought that was necessary and liked it, other series would have pussied out.
>Their solution to the loop, zach?
Both "fine" but I felt like zach had a lot more potential than what was realized.
