Honestly it seems like it bears out his argument in Man and Technic, insofar as western technology has a stifling effect on developing Kultur.
Also Spengler was a genius w/r/t art history, mathematics, and literature, not sure why he isn't widely read a t m.

Example of something he was wrong about for Bump's sake:
He said the Valley of Mexico overtook the Mayans like the Romans over-taking the Greeks. But this was factually incorrect as there is a very long record of back and forth between the two regions dating to the early classic. Though these mistakes are excusable.
