The LAST Islamic Caliphate was openly imperialistic and exhausted itself trying to conquer Europe, while sponsoring slaver-pirates to enslave Europeans and formalizing enslavement as an administrative technique (slave soldiers, slave administrators). Down to the late 19th century it was still meddling in the affairs of Balkan and Arab countries while viewing them as inferiors. Every state does things like this.

The only reason you have such ressentiment against whites is because whites did it better than everyone else. The Ottomans were a bricolage empire, but Europeans took the classical heritage and actually developed it into something new and yet faithful to the tradition. As Europeans expanded they did what everybody else did. The difference is that Europeans hauled humanity into collective greatness by sharing their own greatness in the process.

I am not taking issue with you saying that China plays by realpolitik rules, I'm saying as a European I think Europeans should do the same. "America was never yours" makes as little sense as "South China belongs to the pre-Han peoples." If a Chinese said "There are too many Indians here, they're ruining China" and you said "lmao China was never yours" I would say the exact same thing as I said above, just adjusted for China. OK, perhaps a little off-topic on a literature board, but no more so than the rest of the thread.

We divide the population of the U.S.A. into blacks and non-blacks.

Of course it's not 100% clearcut. But we just put the line down the middle of the fuzzy area. Do a DNA test on everyone and define some metric. Whatever. Wouldn't be so hard.

Now all the non-blacks have a referendum. One-off, totally anonymous voting, totally secure, totally accurate. The motion:

— All the blacks simply disappear. Ping. As if they had never been. (Obviously some supernatural powers are involved. No-one has to DO anything. The instant the polls close — it happens.)

Now the big question:— What would the percentage be "FOR" / "AGAINST" the motion?

I suspect it would be something like 80% "FOR". Jews would vote AGAINST because it's in their interest to have blacks as a millstone around whites’ necks. But there aren't so many of them. Almost all the non-whites (asians, latinos, etc) would vote FOR. So, two issues:
— How do the white liberals go? I think it's about 50-50.
— How many religious whites would think it's immoral to make (say) fifteen million black people disappear? Much tougher to call.
I think in their heart of hearts most people, whatever they say publicly, know they are better-off in a country without black people. Hence, 80% overall.

That's not how it worked at all, if you knew anything about history. China viewed themselves as in the middle literally, geographically, because there were political entities on each side of their border. THey were not a country at the periphery.

As for the tribute system, this was actually a trade system and countries competed or begged to be able to "pay tribute." Because they werre actualy trade missions where they could bring goods and take them back. Only the most favored countries (like Siam) were given the most tribute opportunities.

THe sinicization of Japan and Korea likewise was completely the own doing of those countries. China never imposed any of their culture on those places. Japan and Korea simply adopted them because they viewed them as superior to what they had locally.
