One of his worst, but I keep laughing at tbe gambling addicted uncle character. Literally burst out laughing at the part where the gambler uncle sneaks out from the caravan to play cards with several men and lose his entire fortune with it and then the kid literally got heartbroken because of it. All while they are being homeless and lived under someone elses mercy due to uncle gambling addiction. it might not be funny for you or other people in here, but for me personally I always laughed at gambling scene in literature and gambler character because they are so fucking dumb and unsympathetic, as if conscience is not a thing for these people, so whenever author tried to potray a sympatethic gambler addict it always ended up as something comedical for me

From what I havr read, David Copperfield, Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities.

Bleak House filtered me but I'm willing to give it another go one day.
