Post any book or author you've got that's going to help niggas detect, capture, and understand Truth with a capital T, pointing them toward the right direction out of this maze. Don't even know which tools to trust anymore, man. My brain has been zapped into near-oblivion with all of the following shit:
>Can't trust your own reasoning, lol. It's been corrupted
>Can't trust other men's efforts, lol. They are corrupt
>Can't trust holy texts, lol. They've been corrupted
>Can't trust historical accounts, lol. Don't you know they are corrupt by design?
>Can't trust your emotions, lol. They are corrupt by default
>Can't trust your own experience nor your senses, lol. They are the easiest prey to corruption
>Can't trust the accepted interpretations of natural phenomena, lol. They've been corrupted
>Can't trust the esoteric, lol. It's wide open to corruption by malevolent forces beyond your understanding
>Can't trust ancient wisdom, lol. It's been corrupted by time itself.
>Can't trust whatever you can read in-between the lines of the power structure, lol. It's steeped in corruption
>Can't trust your body. It's been corrupted from the day you were born by the impure food you've fueled it with.
>Can't trust your village donkey. He's the most corrupt animal of all.
>Can't trust your dreams, lol. They're just nonsense, fueled by all of the above corruptions
What channels do I have left, then? I thought that studying phenomenology, more specifically the phenomenology of life, and philosophy of mind would sort this shit out a little bit, but no, the house of cards falls apart as soon as you start doubting its base, which is your own method of absorbing and interpreting information. Maybe I should hide away from the world in a quiet existence built with a numbing routine and focus on immediate reality so I could avoid the risk of an smashing my brains against the brick wall.

thiestic existentialists ala heidegger or gabriel marcel. what is called thinking/parmenides for heidegger and the mystery of being for marce.
also just aristotle/plato/homer/tragedies if you haven't those are a prereq to everything
truth is the actualizing principle of beings and truth for a rational agent is to have a proper relationship towards other beings

How about the faggots that legit believe in Poetry and its faculty for holding the almost unutterable and barely seen truths of the world? Is there any hope for them?
Visual poetry (painting, film) is included here.

I've been mainly interacting with french phenomenology sorta cats like merleau-ponty, bachelard and bergson as a precursor in a ''isn't Being really cool?'' kind of way, and truthfully I've only ever interacted with Marcel from afar by watching a couple of docs and interviews about his thought, but I do like his seemingly sincere appeal for truth and searching for truth in an age of already confusing droning noise. Plato's awesome, so is Plotinus, but I don't want to overdose on neoplatonic thought as it's ripe for splitting your brain into a million pieces with its obsessions. I'll try to be more precise with my study of Heidegger.
>a proper relationship with other beings
Imagine my surprise when I thought that Levinas' study of the concept of 'the other'' was about this, when it really was just a thinly veiled diatribe about jews and nazis and other irrelevant bs wrapped in a blanket of drossy navel-gazing jargon, spinning its wheels forever.
Thanks for the heads up, anyway

Very dense concept for a westernized mind. I'll see what I can do. I am also curious about how certain early muslim sects of china managed to bridge islam with taoist philosophy. I've seen comparative accounts regarding sufism and confuscianism, but I don't remember seeing one about the first two. This might help me calm down about the differences in human thought across time and space.

I've never read seriously Evola. I have friends that love him, or rather love different works of his, but I can't say that I'm too acquainted with what it was that he was trying to say.

The Truth is either knowable or unknowable.

If it is knowable then either it’s been discovered or it hasn’t.

If the Truth is knowable then it’s either the same for everyone or it is not.

That means there are only 5 possibilities :

1. Truth is unknowable.
2. Truth is knowable, and absolute and has been discovered.
3. Truth is knowable, and is not absolute and has been discovered.
4. Truth is knowable, and is absolute but has not been discovered.
5. Truth is knowable, and is not absolute but has not been discovered.

I would argue the Truth can’t be absolute because if it was absolute like the Earth revolving around the Sun then there would be more consensus.

I would also argue that the Truth has been discovered simply because so many people claim to know the Truth.

This leaves what seems like only 2 possibilities. Either the Truth is unknowable or the Truth is there but is different for everyone. In reality these are the same. One merely the antipode of the other. The Truth is unknowable because we’re all subjective beings, but I can know what’s the Truth for me. Ayy - know thyself my friend.

What about phenomenons, miracles, that break the fabric of reality, and leave it bleeding out streams of Truths onto the sea of collective consciousness? Which is the foundation for most religious thought

There are no phenomenons that break the fabric of reality. They are either fake or misunderstood.

I don't remember the title of it, but there was a good book I read once about all the different cognitive biases. It was kind of a pop science book or maybe business category. Maybe another anon will know it.
