Jeff Bezos. He doesn't even need arguments, he influences everyone's way of thought through propaganda and art.

Living? Noam Chomsky, and it's not even close. Up there is Jürgen Habermas, Judith Butler, and of course Zizek.

I think his influence on people like JD Vance is overstated.

I think it's probably Butler in terms of actual influence in academic philosophy. Or maybe Habermas for Europeans I don't really know about them.

Chomsky isn't even really a philosopher

nick lands accelerationism is being embraced by tech bros in a new form of soft accelerationism called /e/acc

>"E/acc" stands for effective accelerationism, a philosophical movement that advocates for accelerating technological progress, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), with the belief that rapid technological advancement is the best path to solving humanity's problems and ushering in a better future. This approach contrasts with "effective altruism," which emphasizes safety and careful consideration in AI development

Honestly, I've been doing a survey of the avant-gaurde on the left and right, and it does seem like Land's shadow is casting far on both sides.

It's too subtle, too self-occulting, too inherently offensive to the sensibilities of a mass audience to be an exoteric belief, but it's there, and it's growing.

I don't think it's era of vogue is yet upon us, but once it is it's not going back.

That said, I'm looking forward to then. There's other, more pro-human influences working in the background. I think there may be an opportunity for a pro-human synthesis in the near future. Hopefully, even past it.
