Can anyone recommend books on psychoanalyzing?

Are there any books on specifically recognizing and dealing with hostile behavior?

Psychoanalysis is a can of worms you don't want to open.

What kind of hostile behavior? Violence? Passive aggression? Chronical resistance to novelty?
There are loads and loads of books on psychoanalysis, but you're better off going to a therapist. They will help you know yourself and in knowing yourself you will more easily know others. Doing it on your own will lead to idiosyncracies at best and self-damage at worst because psychoanalysis is one of those disciplines that starts off as a discoursive method but gradually transforms into a skill and perspective on life itself and supposedly in some ways into gnosticism.

>What kind of hostile behavior?
I often find myself being systematically tested for my boundaries and what people can get away with and i need to recognize these patterns. Eventually i will recognize people pushing me around and try to correct and this will cause hostility and aggression and possible violence.

Given that you control your aggression and not vice versa, it is a natural reaction to having your boundaries crossed, it's not necessarily a problem.
I also get pissed when my boundaries get crossed but more often than not it's because I failed to set the boundary or fail to point out that it's been crossed. That one comes with practice. And a therapist helped.
