right-wing literature/philosophy i've found to contain an unsuspectingly large amount of esotericism. despite most right-wingers coming off as logic driven, it seems they have a soft spot for this. if you think about how that works on an organizational level, the cohesion just isn't there for a consensus work to emerge. there are too many egos trying to push their own brand of esoteric concepts where small pockets of dissenting opinions never find where they actually agree with each other. i partially believe the nazi mysticism shit to be a psyop to lead right-wingers down a spiritual rabbithole where the focus doesn't become what action to take, but instead what the angle of approach is, and this is limitless.

I think many right wing thinkers begin as atheistic intellectuals who believe in the status quo of their time, then when they become disillusioned, grow to recognize that the things they eschewed - religion, spiritual concepts, symbology - actually matter a lot on a civilizational axis. But, they don't believe in these things in good faith, so they pivot to trying to create one themselves and sell it, to induce their preferred form of social organization or control.
