He's not asserting, he's pointing to what's already there, what has been known for millennia by those initiated into the mysteries.
The last 1%? That's his personnal gnosis, direct insight and confirmation stemming from his own experience and knowledge as a high-ranking member of the Shadhiliyah order.

Evola is a more logical thinker. Guenon's main appeal is his broad vision. Guenon is whack on politics though. He is great on the East but he completely loses his self-control when the topic of the West comes up.
Read critically, and you will learn a lot.
I'd say this problem even applies to Evola to a certain extent - he is way too scathing towards the West. Needs to be toned down just a tiny little bit more to actually be useful and perfect.
