What do anons think of the rewrite?

Good schizo-post but for non psychotics the strands are connected only by the vaguest tangentialities. Fine coming of the mouth of a veteran barfly living in a novel but certainly not as non-fiction. The pre-rewrite is better I'm thinking. Christians are called to drink the blood of Christ whilst spilling none themselves is a nice sentence, the most convincing in the piece, and only that because of its ambiguity.
