I'll sometimes just grab something at a used bookstore or project gutenberg with no idea what it is. Sometimes turns out to be a well-known book I just hadn't heard of personally, sometimes turns out to be extremely obscure. I've read decent books in both categories.

never though I wish I would. suppose this is a tremendous downside to only reading hard copy. unless you count the anons that proliferate here.
