Yes, well, if only I too could indulge in such frivolities. I lent my complete works of Dickinson to a friend in exchange for a couple of poetry books, but he went schizo and moved halfway across the world and off the social grid. So, if this cover wasn't so ridiculous, I would have bought the book and had some Dickinson on my shelfinson once more.

Yes, i found Saramago's Blindness paperback dirt cheap, but was horrified to find out the cover was simply the cover of the movie adaption. It looked terrible, complete ass like zoomers would say.
Would have people cared about Dickinson at all if she wasn't a woman? Is it the poet that people care for, or the idea of canonizing a woman as a major poet?
