If you want to sell military and/or spaceopera SF, you need to sell to men, and men don't buy that shit from women. So those women either have to have made a big name from other channels, or else have to sell as "James Tiptree" or "C Perry".
If you want to sell to horny frustrated housefraus and single women, and make a phat stakk of ca$h, your best bet is romance where dowdy girl gets to fuck Chad. Your chances are higher if you pretend to be a woman (ywnbaw) than if you post under your own name Rajiv Vishnuparam (which I assume it is, OP).
