Welcome to the Gunpla/Plamo General!

For those new, please read our guides. We have many resources available to help you in many different aspects of the hobby. They're here for you!

For the unclear, "plamo" is short for "plastic model". "Gunpla" is thus short for "Gundam plastic model". Many different kinds of models are built here, ranging from mecha to planes, cars, musume, you name it! If you're new, you're gonna screw up. Don't worry! If you're seasoned, don't make the newbies worry!

And don't forget to report shitposting and spam. The mods don't browse /m/ too often, so it's up to YOU to help keep our general clean and civil!

>Why are my pictures sideways?
4chan strips EXIF data when images are uploaded, including the orientation tag if it's from your phone. To fix it save out your images separately, or use an app that will rotate and save the images for you.

I've personally been tossing Rs and SRs after I MLB any from the gacha for the build-up of gacha points. SSRs and beyond I keep, (though I have no real dupe URs), but that's mostly because SSRs might still be viable; there's not a lot of units lower than that to keep aside from completion...

I'm watching Gundam (the first show) for the first time and I can't get over some pretty stupid things. For example, why the fuck did they teach Amuro how to use a gun? He's a Mobile Suit pilot, not an infantryman. Pilots don't need to learn how to use weapons, because they already know how to pilot a walking death machine that can use a bigger gun. It's literally not part of his job to use a machine gun or a pistol, even if enemy commandos managed to reach the base, because he could just pilot something to swat them out.

I don't know, maybe I'm just being nitpicky, but the show is kinda stupid at times.

As of season 6 the henshins seem to be homages to the genre more than time filler. There's one an episode if that, they've mostly opted for near instant Kamen Rider style transformations since season 5 or so. Even Ladybug herself only had her henshin shown once in half the season so far.
