Anonymous No.23566931 [Report]

It's on the store page as "Free Iris Outfit" DLC. Worth noting that it seems to provide some extra chest padding for guys, but not girls. Thought it was just a trick of the light/shading at first, but on closer inspection the model does appear to change. For girls, it actually seems to shrink the chest a tiny bit compared to the other DLC outfits in exchange for more definition.

Yeah I'll be down for it
I'm looking forward to the club/acid gun. But really I want the arms. The things have like 200 melee and 90 shooting which can be saved by enough head mods.

That head is probably atrocious though. And I wonder if they'll give us a shield or if it'll be a (nearly useless) jamming device
Anonymous No.23568905 [Report] >>23568926
>>23568535
I don't see the point in either honestly, we already have two of those shields that do exactly the same thing so a third one really doesn't mean anything, jamming aux are completely useless so even there there's no point in having yet another recolor of the same exact thing, the problem with Lapis Lacrima is that it also doesn't really lend itself to much, the only other thing it does is lay mines so maybe a mine aux? But those things are also useless so we're back to square 1.
Honestly my only wish for this game is a second Centurion fight with a set that includes the coattails and the spine spikes+orbital ring rather than that discount set we currently have, what a gigantic miss that was.

>I don't see the point in either honestly, we already have two of those shields that do exactly the same thing so a third one really doesn't mean anything
A third one would be potentially even stronger;
Aeternitas Physical defense is capped at 60 and a high roll for laser defense is 60 while it's guard strength fluctuates from 40 to 70
It's skill modifier is also...
...?

...Wait
As I'm looking at these stats
Did they buff Concordia/Aeternitas?
I swear to you that when I made these shields Aeternitas has a .8 skill modifier and Concordia had a 1.00
Now Aeternitas has a 1.00 modifier and Concordia has a 1.10
And I know this because I had a set with the Verus Speculum specifically for shield bashing.
... Or maybe this is the Mandela effect.

Anyways a third shield could potentially be 90 (or even 100) for blade and laser, have a 1.2 correction, and potentially a 1.00 move speed boost baseline
It wouldn't change anything for using it against guns. But a 100/100 would make it useable for me specifically with the retard build.

Or they could give us a new gun
Anyways maybe Centurion (forma de coattails) comes with the expansion next month

Don't really think we'll get a second Cent set or fight, it's just very wishful thinking with a lot of pipes and dreams.
And even if we did we'd just get a Fragarach recolor rather than a second set, let alone a second set with different looks, they've already shown with Grausam Omega that they're taking the path of least resistance and the game's poor sales aren't going to change that either.

Anonymous No.23572297 [Report]
>>23572288
In single player, there's rare attachments that let you slow down the VP depletion.
In multiplayer you can more or less have infinite Heavy Armor as long as people keep spamming healing bubbles from things like Repair Shot or Splendor II since Heavy Armor VP works exactly like player VP, in theory you can also lengthen the duration of Heavy Armor in single player by spamming a bunch of Repair Shots or Splendor II shots with enhanced duration and camp inside of those until they pop but it's nowhere as efficient as it is in multiplayer.

It's the only good piece of gear in this update and the only reason to ever bother with either of those shitty fights, and to no one's surprise they have good synergy with Explorer parts too.
Amalgamate head is mediocre at best though, Tyrant is meh, not really a big step up from Butcher as it should have been, Fortis is a joke but at the very least is not a jammer I guess.

I think the worst part of this deal outside of both Cybele and Lapis being dogshit fights is that none of the Amalgamate parts look any good on clownsuits, the aesthetic is just too different from everything else to play mix and match here, which is a shame since Amalgamate arms look really cool on their own.

Once it's on you it's on you
As for said radius, On my medium and fatasses at least (I don't pilot lightweights) I can only outpace it by deliberately spamming blink to get out of it

The omega bosses are clearly for making a single melee build. The weird part is that the last part, the chest piece, comes a month AFTER the DLC. Which as you said is poor handling.
Should have focused on a selection of omegas that gave a nice range of weapons rather than just going melee. And that's coming from me, with over 150 hours playing a fatboy melee build so this shit is basically catered specifically to me.
Honestly I think it'd be much better, just gear-wise, if they instead focused on giving us omega neun and just kept omega colossi for the DLC.

They removed the two other yellow sets (Tartaros and whatever the other one is called) when they changed amalgam set to red rarity. Technically you can still buy the arms from the second set, now also in red rarity, but the rest of it was removed. Even the couple weapons that were unobtainable like Zanki's twin katanas got edited, not exactly removed but they had their icon data and names removed so while still technically buyable, you can't sell them and in the menu they just show up as grey boxes with no name in spite of being complete items before the first omega boss patch. But there really isn't all that much unreleased data, it seems they're at least legit adding new content with patches, and not just unlocking shit already in the data files.

Anonymous No.23590205 [Report]
>>23589560
>Its so hard to pinpoint where she is.
The trick is simple: don't let her get her invisibility up ever.
Actual setup:
-bring at least one MG arm and another MG with matching crit range (or two MG arms, I ain't your mommy)
-bring Garuda/Wrath of God
-bring incendiary grenades (I'm guessing corrosive would work just as well)
As soon as the battle starts look at the concrete barrier/rubble to your right. She always teleports there as an opening. Immediately open fire with both MGs then lock on as soon as you plink her, then start unloading missiles into her as well. Chuck a grenade every once in a while to keep her on fire and break the invisibility and you're done. If she gets knocked down try to time your grenade so it hits her as she gets up, as the invuln window also prevents grenades from exploding on contact.
Of note: Arachne tends to get stuck on the level's geometry, she can dash away while reactivating invis but she often just stands there and eat whatever you throw at her. SR2s are shit against her. If you get in their crit range she just nicks you with her paralyzing tailblade and then you eat 6 gorillion arrows while she turns invisible. By the same logic, limit change+combo thrust can fail miserably if she gets you first or she gets enough time to get up and dash away.
>Also is there anything better than Wrath of Gods?
Garuda, arguably. Cheaper in memory usage and weight, better damage potential at the cost of guidance (which is mostly irrelevant since colossals are too big to miss and other arsenals can dodge both). Wrath does have better burst damage, admittedly. It also looks like shit on lightweights.
Anonymous No.23592172 [Report]
>>23589560
>Also is there anything better than Wrath of Gods?
As far as heat-seeking missiles go there's only:
>El Dorado
Early game option only.
>Garuda
Best overall for it's low weight and memory burden while still maintaining competitive DPS.
>Wrath of God
Good for burst damage, but as stated above it's overall DPS is comparable to Garuda over the course of a full fight while having a higher burden. It's total damage is only slightly higher due to having a but more total ammo, but not enough to make a big difference though.

Basically use Garuda if you care about your mobility and memory at all and use Wrath of God on fatties who have weight and memory to spare.

I really want the DLC to add a laser missile option for heat-seeking. It makes about as much sense as regular laser missiles and arguably even more sense than Zeruchroar's exploding laser missiles so I don't see why they can't. Would make a cool boss drop weapon.

Didn't the madman going into battle with an unfinished ghetto rigged arsenal not clue you in that he was nuts? Of course the Shadow Taker questline was supposed to come out of the blue and turn out to be related to it.

I've been playing this highspeed coffin the entire game and still works fine for me. I take its only worth to farm gear by endgame?

Pretty much. Until then, you can get by on whatever you pick up while doing quests and beacons. For lightweights, you won't even have access to the best gear until the very end of the story.

You simply can't farm gear outside of the endgame unless you get lucky with one of the Axiom facilities, and even then it's just some specific weapons since for some reason even on Gold cards you're stuck with dogshit like Pallas or Berserker.
After you unlock the simulator rematches for the various Neun members and the Event section chances are you're just winging it with some lucky drops from the story fights with the Neun.
Even there it's not like Hard even pushes you to farm that hard anyway.
