This is only kinda hinted at in a later event and they'll never expand on it now, but I'm pretty sure Kanadeverse Adam was abandoned by the Annunaki even earlier than the prime one was, and fears them less because of it. He had some lines about how he was "lacking a purpose" and had to find his own, and the premise of the golden memories event is that a shapeshifter impersonates an Annunaki to give Adam orders he is incapable of rejecting.

In the Symphogear 4.5 flashback Enki already lists prime Adam as a failure in a conversation with Fine, because he instantly went full Skynet on everything less perfect than him when they put him into action.

S2: Crunchyroll (not default). All other subs butcher a lot of songs and dialogues, even the best episode ending
S3: anything but Crunchyroll (they didn't even translate the fucking songs). Just stick to Deetruck (default) probably
S4: Deetruck (default) since they seem to all be using the same script except Crunchyroll which sucks here
S5: YameteTomete seems to be better than Deetruck+derivatives (same script), which shits on Crunchy (didn't even translate the songs)

Either it was for the sake of disc space or because I saw someone complaining about the translations in the comments. Might just finish S1 as-is, go with crunchyroll for S2, then get the ones here for S3-S5. I'm not going to be picky about a language I don't speak, but if even I can pick up on oddities, then it's not a very good job. Either subbers don't pick up on basic words or phrases, they're working with someone else's English script as one comment seemed to imply, or they're just choosing to put in something else for the sake of creativity, what the fuck?

I'd find it worth the wait to wait 1-2 days, even a week, to be able to actually enjoy it. And if that became the common standard, then yeah a week after airing, the western world picks up the episode and talks about it and everything's fine except for the occasional incident where someone gives spoilers for that week's episode, but if it's become such a cultural standard by then, that person is hunted down or doesn't even exist to begin with. But with modern anime, it looks like people probably wouldn't even care, since they're used to "passable" subs, or they're one step away from the "I watch anime dubbed so I can do other things around the house without having to look at the screen" radio show crowd.
