Well, there's less than a month left until the anniversary (June 6th), and we have a lot to decide!
I'm reposting the event "instructions" on picrel.
Feel free to suggest ideas; here I'll expand on mine that I referenced earlier:

We can use the song "Pinkie Pie's RC Car" by vul ( https://youtu.be/iSZhUKejc3Y?si=dk3tbBWbO4VT6JO5&t=672 ), and base the anniversary theme on cars!

Well, I was thinking we could take a photo of our merch pony riding on a vehicle of any kind, be it a toy, a cart, a real car, or something completely improvised, like grabbing a plate and putting wheels on it using bottles lying on top of it like a tank.
Or make it out of paper and use the rolls, or use square cardboard wheels or whatever.
Literally anything you have on hand that looks like some kind of vehicle!
Think of it as a photo, so it doesn't necessarily have to be movable or properly mounted; it's just a pic.
But hey, if you already have things like a toy truck from your childhood, a real RC car, a cart of any kind (a supermarket cart, a wheelbarrow, etc.), or you're really lazy and don't mind using your car, you can do that too, and it would be perfect!

Think of it the same way we did with the buckets: not just buckets, but any cylindrical or similarly shaped container.
In this case, it's anything with wheels that looks or could be considered a vehicle, whether it works or not.
I don't know how much the anon who put together the video would agree, but if you're willing and able to do so, we can also accept a few-second videos of your pony merch car in motion and add it to the video collage that way!
Just like we added the one in the past with the anon throwing his bucket full of stuff.

This isn't definitive; I'm just suggesting an idea; any other suggestions are welcome!

This question is important for both those who will only participate as viewers and those who want to host live streams or other activities:

Because the anniversary falls on friday (06/06), I don't know if there will really be many people available that day.
A logical thing would be to move it to the next day, saturday.
But realistically, the rewatch stream also falls on that day, and most people willing to jump into a pony cyTube stream will be there.
Another option would be Sunday, which, although two days away from the anniversary, seems the most convenient.
What do you say? I'd like to hear your thoughts before making a proper poll.

Also, feel free to suggest videos and emotes!
All the suggestions from previous threads have been noted, although I can't promise that all videos will appear; that depends on several factors.

I have two bootleg plushies of them, so I could do it.

I'd go with actual objects from the show. Some ideas are the twilicane head, bits, wingpony badge, RD's crown from Sonic Rainboom, the season 4 keys, medals, etc. Maybe even the elements of harmony? You can't go wrong with little statuettes of ponies though.

I have the Mane 6 EQG minis on a shelf. They cute, but i don't have pics. You guys would just ape out about hooves anyway.

Eyes can be fixed through thread sculpting. Definitely recommend looking up a guide and getting doll needles for it, the difference is astounding. See how the nostril and the eyes kinda go in on a dimple on Celestia here? That's what it'll look like. Other than that, I'd say cut off the loose threads on AJ and she'll look fantastic.

Trixieloafs invasion

Found a toy from the movie at the thrift store today, I flipped her over for the picture because the other side was covered in marker stains and had metal sticking out of her. Probably not a huge amount. Some creators will include it in the price. In theory it isn't hard to modify the pattern. If you have specific specs you want it should make it easier.

I hand embroider with a hoop and needle. first time doing any new plush pattern I would recommend not bothering, use buttons or something for your mare eyes. When you do start with embroidery you WILL spend 3x more time embroidering then sewing the dam plush together.
AND don't hand embroider felt without a firmer layer of fabric underneath it, felt don't work very well it rips with repetitive poking

A pin-cusion pony is a good idea. I might try just making another head and use that for my pins. These little things are a surprising amount of work to make, and I could always make a new body for it later.

The patterns definitely produce similar results, but it looks like the ears on that pattern are stitched separately from the head, the mane and proportions are different, and you appear to have some extra stitches around the mid-section and base of the tail. I don't have a picture of the belly on mine, but there's a gusset running down the center to pull in the waist, which may or may not also be different from the my little waifu pattern.

I'd like to start trying to make bigger ponies, since I expect the longer, straighter stitches will actually be easier for me overall and give a better pony-per-pony ratio, with regards to effort spent. If you have any recommendations for larger patterns, I'd be interested.

I'm not sure if I understood your problem correctly, but I take your question is that where body's black A should meet head near the blue D, as it's not marked? If that is what you mean I'd say the point where black A goes is on somewhere on the curve just above blue D on bottom of the head. I haven't sewn this pattern myself but I would tackle this by sewing head gusset to head, body halves together with tummy and then just start pinning head to body, starting from heads blue D and moving up to blue C and just letting body's black A to naturally hit wherever it wants to go on body-head seam.

Anyone here familiar with the Chinese cards or who knows someplace I could ask about them? I got a few at a con and while I don't think I got anything special I'm still curious to get a look from someone who knows more about them to see if there's anything interesting in there.

If you are interested in specific cards, your best bet is to look at TaoBao, JD, PDD, Xiaoyu or other local Chinese marketplaces. Aliexpress and Ebay has bullshit pricing, with people thinking the card saying Rare means they're worth like $100 (acshutually it means basic bitch tier card you can get for like 1CNY, 15 cents on TaoBao). There are some very specific cards that goes for like $200-300.
