The Humanized thread was created when the various humanized threads (including Fingerbang) on /mlp/ decided to merge. The rest is history. Quite literally as of now.

And as an anchor post for those anons who keep asking about edits and edit threads, I might be doing some of that stuff in this thread. (pic related is *not* my edit, but it's relevant)

All of my edits I did from what I remember were NSFW, and I almost never posted them on boorus, and I'm too lazy to find the Glimmer one I did a while back, so I decided to edit one of the pictures from last thread really quickly. Pic related.

>The jeep drunkenly stumbles over its tires against the uneven bumps of grass and dirt, nearly tipping over onto the sand peppered with small rocks.

>Light footsteps try not to break the silence as hands keep ahold of wrists for guidance.
>The gentle splashing of waves help those footsteps figure out where the small motorboat is.
>There's nowhere for Jason to easily hide on the small boat, and Lyra's phone flashlight confirms that he's not there while at the same time giving away everyone's position.

>Suddenly, a loud voice comes rolling over a hill like a blaring fanfare: "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE TO DIE?!"
>"God damn it, that's why he got after us so fast! He was supposed to get her and buy us time..." Mutters Lyra as she dreads spending the next few hours on the small boat with Trixie's yapping as much as she dreads getting chopped up by Jason.
>Having just been thanking her stans in her sleep, Trixie's eyes are still well-adjusted to the dark as she runs.
>Seeing every blade of grass in grand detail while she huffs and hustles over to where she saw the phone light illuminate the side of the motorboat.
>The other three have meanwhile gotten into the boat already, with Timber turning the key that starts up the engine.
>"DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRIXIE!" The running girl does not tire.
>She looks to the side and sees the silhouette of Jason running after her, approaching from higher up on a hill.

>The splatter from the blades in the back of the motorboat waves Trixie goodbye, but she's not about to let her blood splatter wave back just yet.

>In search of the motorboat more dedicatedly than the motorboat is in search of the exit to the lake.
>Much time goes by without anything happening, and Jason finally realizes that the motorboat must have already left the lake.

>After getting a text that her friends will be going to the city to film another scene of their music video, Starlight does her best to steer the yacht in the direction of Manehattan.
>Every girl onboard constantly checks over the metal railing of the ship as though the trees on either side have eyes.
>This river is luckily wide enough to keep the riverbanks at bay, but that doesn't stop Jason from eventually finding the yacht from underwater.
>Swimming expertly like a Navy Seal with 300 confirmed kills, Jason Voorhees moves like a submarine, keeping his weapon close and pressing on like a submerged marine.
>Waiting until the passengers on yacht leave the coast, letting their guard down where there's less ways to call for help.
>The vessel soon enters open waters, and no one can hear Jason punching sharks in the nose and making them swim away.
>The yacht keeps hugging the coastline for dozens of nautical miles along its length like it missed it.
>"Alright, I think we had to have lost him by now." Lyra sits back down after checking all around the edges of the yacht's metal railings.
>Octavia lets her long hair get blown around by the wind, Bonbon explores down into the lower levels of the deck to find Vinyl testing out her DJ station.
>After several more minutes have gone by, Octavia enters the room where Vinyl's DJ station is as well. "Have you seen the video camera?"
>Vinyl shrugs back at her.
>Starlight meanwhile continues to steer the yacht the best she can, managing to use her plot armor to keep it from running aground on the shore as the waves try to push it closer to land.
>"Are you sure going to the city is a good idea?" Lyra asks Starlight. "What if the others aren't there?"
>"Relax, Sunset just texted me that they're heading over right now to film the next part of the video?" Starlight replies.

>Octavia briefly enters the room in search of the video camera.

>Meanwhile, Vinyl continues jamming to the music she's playing in her DJ set before the power cuts off.
>She looks down, pressing any button she can before the power cuts back on again, startling her and making her jump backwards.
>She backs right up into someone, turns around, finding that she just backed up into Jason Voorhees standing behind her.
>Now hacking away at the air with his machete, Jason tries to chop Vinyl up right after she was quick enough to dart away.
>Being mute without a voice, Vinyl cannot scream and picks up a large bundle of thick wires lying around to defend herself with.
>No whacking of these wires will be able to slow Jason down, however, let alone kill him.
>Because of this, Vinyl silently runs back and forth with no way to call for help without a voice.
>No matter where she turns, Jason is always standing right there before her, apparently having teleportation powers now.
>The music from her DJ station continues playing while this goes on until Jason finally catches Vinyl and starts strangling her, able to pick her up using his greater height advantage and undead strength.
>A supersonic sound wave from Vinyl's DJ station emits out of one of the speakers and blows Jason Voorhees back through the sheer force of powerful sound alone.
>Her lets go of Vinyl, and the deafening noise was enough to gain everyone else's attention.
>She presses the pack-me-up button on her DJ station that causes the entire thing to fold back up like a transformer toy Hasbro wanted you to buy into a mechanical backpack Vinyl puts onto her back and runs away while Jason stumbles to his feet.
>"Vinyl! are you alright?" Octavia is the first in the room.

>Everyone gathers onto the deck before a massive explosion occurs when the quickly spreading fire spreads to the engine room, and the yacht rocks violently back and forth.
>"Hey! What the fuck is going on down there! Trixie needs to be tan in the video!" Trixie holds the stolen video camera in her hand, trying to moon-bathe now that the sun has gone down too much to shine upon her.
>"Trixie! We need to get into the lifeboat! Jason's here!" Starlight frantically pulls on the ropes and whatnot, lowering the lifeboat more clumsily than the people aboard the Titanic when it was starting to tilt.
>"Ugh, not now, Starlight baby! Jason can wait! The Great and Powerful Trixie can take him!" Trixie declares as everyone else scrambles into the lowering lifeboat as time quickly runs out.
>A giant plume of smoke rises before a towering inferno erupts from the middle of the ship, the glow of which illuminating Trixie's face a bright orange as she stares at it while listening to the fire alarm.
>An ember lands on the front tuft of her hair, and she licks her fingers to pinch it out.
>"Trixie we have to go NOW! What about the fire?!" Starlight urges.

>Maybe the past flurry of events made this whole thing braindead enough to seem that way somehow.
>All of the girls get out of the lifeboat and begin meandering around random alleyways.
>Everything just feels even more directionless than before out of nowhere.
>They run past a bunch of guys loitering on top of the no loitering signs.
>Jason teleports behind the girls but then falls behind manually marching after them because of course he does.
>Punts the guy's boom box down the block, but then one of the guys pulls another even bigger boom box out of his pocket.
>Jason punts it even further over the Empire State Building and now they're bothered.
>"Hey, what the fuck, man?" One of them says before Jason turns around and pull up his mask.
>The group stares for a brief moment before finally recognizing him
>"Ohhhhh!" Another guy finally says while seeming completely unafraid.
>All seven of them then pull their faces up that all turned out to be masks used for the music video they were shooting and it's the mane 7.
>"Oh fuck." Jason gasps before running away.
>The powerful magical girls leave behind their stage costumes and chase Jason down the block in their street clothes.
>"He's going into that coffee shop! Don't let him get away!" Points Sunset while Rarity throws a diamond shield at him like a frisbee.
>It jabs into his back and he falls onto his face as the girls approach.

>Twilight uses her telepathic powers to float the shattered window and mirror back together while Rarity patches it up with her diamond force field powers.
>Both damaged surfaces looks even better than they did before they were smashed.
>"Now it's 500,000 dollars plus tax." Adds the waitress.
>"What? Why?" Asks Sunset, using the front door to enter.
>"Welcome to New York." The waitress gives her the most nonchalant stare of All Time.
>"After him!" Pinkie Pie points to Jason escaping through the back door leading to alleyways behind the coffee shop.
>Rainbow Dash instantly catches up to him and mule kicks him onto the ground.
>The rest of the girls follow him and start beating the shit out of him.
>Everyone watches the episode unfold through the slowly closing door before going back to sipping their coffee and reading their papers and eating bagels and pumping memecoins and watching vtubers.
>"The city's gang violence situation is insane." One of the unenthusiastic patrons comments before tipping 500,000 dollars and getting arrested because he forgot the unspecified tax. "Fuck this, I'm going to Miami next time."
>The mane 7 rainbow blast Jason hard enough to last the entirety of June and he falls into a nearby set of subway doors.
>Jason silently stands up and start menacingly walking away even though he could still just teleport back to Camp Crystal Lake.
>He makes it to the other end of the subway car before a man in clown makeup pulls out a gun and shoots him three times.

>Starlight puts her fists up and starts to punch Jason in the face over and over as all of her friends clap and cheer for her in a circle around the two on the roof.

Duties of the King: The Second Rule of Fight Club.

>Morning in Canterlot on the 30th day of the semester. The sky is overcast with grey clouds hanging low and a slight breeze from the south. The streets nearby are unexpectedly quiet as traffic has been rerouted by nervous police.
>Twilight went through the portal first so she could telekinetically stabilize others as they stumbled out. Five seconds later Rarity went through and the rest of us followed in three second increments after that. In this way we assembled silently and quickly and assessed the situation.
>Lady Chrysalis was in front of the doors to Canterlot High School (CHS) with a heavily armed mercenary standing beside her. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were on their knees with their hands on their heads next to them. On the steps were around 40 students and staff, including the Crusaders, also kneeling with their hands on their heads. There didn't seem to be any students approaching campus, so the police must have established a cordon.
>There were four more visible mercenaries surrounding the hostages and eight brainwashed drones with pistols intermixed with the hostages. No sign of Commander Tempest.
>Unbeknownst to the cartel, in addition to us there was a large Canterlot Police Department (CPD) presence in nearby buildings which included several snipers. A few other students were also lurking about without the cartel's knowledge.
>Lady Chrysalis addressed her hostage crowd. "Ok folks, I want to know where Anonymous is. If you tell me now, the one who gives him up can go free."
How was I supposed to ignore that setup? I first checked that everyone was in position and after confirming I said. "Does that mean if I tell you I'm here, I can go free? Hit it Twilight!"

>Lady Chrysalis scowled as the brainwashed droned started to go limp. She pointed at me and my girlfriends and shouted "OPEN FIRE!"
>But Rarity had been waiting for this and put a series of shields in front of us. At this distance ricochets harming innocents wasn't really a concern as the hail of gunfire bounced off harmlessly.
>Then, since they were no longer pointing weapons at helpless students, the CPD snipers took out the four surrounding mercenaries with headshots.

>Lady Chrysalis was distracted by the unexpected gun crunching as she looked at her hand and wasn't expecting Applejack's quick right jab to have so much force as she was knocked back a step.
>Applejack said "You hurt Pinkie!" And as she swung again a purple glow enveloped Principal Celestia and started to move her away and Rainbow Dash grabbed Vice Principal Luna and moved her off as well. Applejack's left roundhouse also connected and knocked her target back two more steps as she said "You hurt Rarity!"
>Lady Chrysalis was apparently stunned and defenseless as Applejack advanced and planted her right fist into her gut, doubling her over as Applejack said "You hurt Sunset!"
>Then Applejack brought both fists down on Lady Chrysalis's head, dropping her to the ground and said "You. Hurt. Canterlot! NEVER AGAIN!"
>Meanwhile the Crusaders rounded the corner of the school building with Scootaloo in the lead when Scootaloo suddenly stopped and started to gag at the sight of the mercenary leader that had fallen their with a headshot from a CPD sniper.
>Billy figured it out immediately and turned Scootaloo around and hugged her. Saying "It's all right. He can't hurt us anymore. We ran like Big Mac and Granny said." The other two girls joined in the hug.
>Applejack leapt away and shouted "CLEAR!" and Rarity constructed a dome around the fallen Lady Chrysalis with a foot-wide opening at the top. Moments later, six glowing jawbreakers were guided in through the opening by a purple glow and six powerful explosions followed.
>Twilight stopped singing.

Rarity released her shields and Lady Chrysalis was still breathing, but apparently unconscious. Sunset, I and the others approached as I said "We need to find the stone and remove it without touching it." as a reminder.
>Suddenly a small flat square about two inches wide flew up and hit me in the chest. Then it stayed there and my world went black.
>Billy and the other Crusaders watched in horror as several dozen black shapes flew forth from the stone on Anonymous's chest and hit all his girlfriends and several others including Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. Before his eyes, Billy saw the color start to drain out of Anonymous and everyone the black shapes touched. He recognized from descriptions this was the Changeling Cartel's brainwashing magic in action.

>The effect was almost immediate for Anon's girlfriends and Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. But almost everyone else hit was recovering if a bit more slowly. The one exception was Anonymous who was connected to the source. His color was still washing out!
>Sunset cried out "Anonymous!" and reached out to touch his shoulder.
>Twilight saw that that stopped the color washout from advancing and said "That's it! Girls touch Anonymous!" And so they all did.
A minute later, I could think and act for myself again. "Thank you again ladies!" I said as I took stock of my current situation.
>Sunset said "Talk to me babe. What's happening?"
"From what I can tell, you ladies are channeling enough power to destroy this rock.." I said and took a long breath.
>Sunset prompted me with "But?.."
"But I can't pass it on. I'm a bottleneck." I said "Plus I don't think this magical conflict is very good for me.... I'm sorry.. I-I don't think I'm going to make it out of this.."
>The girls all exchanged glances and nodded. Sunset said "Anon just hang on! Just give us two minutes! There's one last secret we want to share with you!"
"Anything for you girls." I said a bit weakly.

>My black jeans morphed into black cargo shorts with the top snap undone and enough room to breath comfortably. Other changes rendered this important.
>Internally, I was no longer a bottleneck to the magic passing through me and the damage that had been done began to heal very rapidly.
>As a group, my girlfriends and I (even the ones without wings) became airborne and shifted into a giant heart pattern with me at the center. This all just felt natural and the girls were smiling.
>Then, from somewhere around us I wasn't certain of, a three foot tall rainbow band grew and swirled around us several times before going straight up into the air and coming back down and striking the stone attached to my chest.

>With a decisive tone he locked eyes with Apple Bloom and said "Apple Bloom. YOU'RE beautiful!" Then he locked eyes with Scootaloo and declared "Scootaloo. YOU'RE beautiful!" And then he locked eyes with a rapidly breathing Sweetie Belle and solidly said "Sweetie Belle. YOU'RE beautiful!"
>The girls were ALL breathing rapidly and exchanging glances. Then they asked in unison "What are you saying Billy?" with eager hope laced into their words.
>With an unflinching smile, Billy said "I'm saying I want to date all three of you like how Anonymous is dating your friends and family."
>The girls didn't need to exchange glances for this! They just all said "YES!!!" in unison and moved in for a hug. And as they hugged, four more Ponies appeared on the clouds. An Earth Pony, a Pegasus, A Unicorn, and an Alicorn!

"How can I help?" I asked as I tore my attention away.
>The strange man replied "Actually I wanted to ask if I might help you sir." Then he pointed to where Lady Chrysalis lay unconscious and said. "The American justice system does not always deal well with folks like cartel leaders that have a lot of money to defend themselves. She might even go free on a technicality. To prevent that, I would like to ask your permission to take her with me. I can guarantee you she will face the justice she so richly deserves and her many victims will be avenged."
"That is a VERY generous offer." I said "But I find I must respectfully and politely decline."
>The strange man said "As you wish sir. But may I ask why?"
"Oh of course." I said. "What you say about the American justice system is true enough, but she is wanted internationally by many countries. If America fails to convict then she would be given to the courts in another country. Given that, and though I'm no expert, my guess is she'd prefer to be in an American prison. Plus there are hundreds, if not thousands of victims of hers yet to be accounted for."
"During the trial those will be investigated and many families will be able to be reunited. Others will at least get.. closure about their loved ones fate. Again I'm not an expert, but I feel that's only really going to happen in America."
>The strange man merely smiled and said "I see. Well then thank you for the answer and your time sir. Have a pleasant day." And he walked off. Soon after the CPD came and took charge of the situation.

"A fair question." I said "But no. Rather I got the sense he was, shall we say, a business rival, of Lady Chrysalis and her cartel."

"I think he wanted two things actually." I said. "He wanted all of her holdings and assets of course. And he wanted the King of Canterlot to owe him a favor. But no cartel will ever set foot in Canterlot again if I can help it!"
>Suddenly Principal Celestia, who I hadn't realized was nearby, said "VERY well done Anonymous! Once again Canterlot is proud to have you here!"
"Thank you Principal Celestia." I said " And as before I have to say that I'm only able to do this thanks to the wonderful guidance you and everyone in Canterlot has given me. Now it's my turn to step up for this community!
>As everyone around me was giving me beaming smiles, Billy called out to me as he arrived with the rest of the Crusaders.
>Then the Crusader girls all got message notifications at the same time. As they reflexively checked, Billy paused, and everyone watched as they gasped and started smiling at each other even more wildly!
>Billy asked "What?"
>In response, Apple Bloom held out her phone to Sunset and choked out "Read it aloud."
>Sunset reverently took the phone and said "To my future daughters. Please take care of him. Billy's mom! EEEEEE!"
>The Crusaders were hugged by more folks than they thought they knew and many squeals were heard in the process!
>Eventually Pinkie asked "But how did she know when you hadn't actually told US yet?"
>Billy pointed up to the Ponies on the clouds and said "We're the only folks with a number larger than two. We were about to tell you first, but my mom is just smart is all."
>Suddenly Rarity said "Alright Anon let's have a proper look at you." and eyed me up "Yes, well you've CLEARLY had some good inspiration here an.. oh MY!!!"
Suddenly I could SMELL a swishing tail! I had to act fast as Rarity directed the other girls eyes! "Girls! Please give me TWO MINUTES to close up loose ends and then we can head to my place ok?"

As the girls absently nodded I turned to Principal Celestia and said "Principal Celestia, I need your help with two things please. First please write to Princess Twilight Sparkle and inform her we were victorious so they aren't worried over there please."
>Principal Celestia said "Of course Anonymous. But why can't Sunset do that?"
"Because it looks like we have a side effect of all this magic affecting us that we need to go deal with. So we won't be able to give statements for.. I don't know how long. Maybe tomorrow?"
>As Celestia nodded, having seen how my girls were looking at me, Billy asked "You gotta go? Why?"
For Billy, I leaned in and said in his ear and said "You noticed that my girls all have their hair grow when they pony up?"
>Billy said "Yeah?"
"It wasn't my hair that grew and they finally noticed!"
>Billy's eyes grew wide as a purple glow enveloped me and multiple voices informed me my time was up now! And so I was happily carried away back to my place and every time I coupled with one of my ladies, our Pony representation on the clouds became an undefined smear.

Hello everybody!
Hope you enjoyed this installment! We had TWO songs for this finale and the Crusaders got a twist on their plot resolution! Plus Lady Chrysalis finds out the hard way other CHS students have powers too! (I had also wanted to use Wallflower Blush as well but all I could come up with was taking out a rooftop guard in ways that were probably to graphic. Like pushing off a roof or swiping a grenade pin. But I like Wallflower and she will get a happily ever after in the epilogue in part because she is rich in story potential.)

It's been a wild ride so far and there's still a little bit to go even yet! This is the part where I add extra details.
But first let's put everyone on even footing. And the first thing to mention if you didn't already know is Duties of the King https://ponepaste.org/10501 started off as a continuation of King of the Castle by Cosmic Butthole at https://ponepaste.org/10028 . Wait, no, that's to dry.
I had just quit my volunteer effort to hype up my favorite City of Heroes private server (Thunderspy) on the proper subreddit because I kept getting into disagreements over there and I was turning into a liability. (Redditors don't like anons and vice versa. In other news water is wet.) So I came to 4chan and decided to explore a bit more on /mlp/ than just flutterrape. So I visited Fingerbang for the first time and saw an installment of King of the Castle (A tipsy Anon drops that he's been getting love notes..) and I was HOOKED.
I read the other parts posted in that thread and eagerly looked forward to the next installments. Eventually I realized ponepaste existed and got caught up on the whole thing. (Did I say I was new to this? Because I was new to this.)
Now we all have our quirks of course. You know that one guy in school that just has to PARTICIPATE in every class? That was me. Judge if ya want but I am who I am. The reason I mention this is pretty soon every time CB posted an installment I gave feedback in the form of commentary and often ideas. CB was still MANY months away from finishing and the presented ideas continued to build up. And when CB finished, I still had all of these ideas in my head and no use for them or way to get them OUT of my head. Even that one idea about inducting Anon into the Elements of Harmony so I could tell a stupid dick joke.

Now going from just successfully having seven(7!) girlfriends to being a lightweight superhero sounded like an actual story idea. Sure I had no clear idea about HOW it was going to happen but that should only be an issue if I got permission right? And why would CB give me permission when CB was planning a part 2 at some point? I was a nameless fanboy! Still, can't give up until you actually TRY so I asked permission while figuring "no way in hell."

Now I had a strong opening idea with Anon facing down an unruly crowd and then introducing Billy, but I realized I had forgotten to announce the eight person relationship! So I had to backtrack to the first day of the semester and figure out HOW. And I was stuck, so I asked myself what the characters would do about a major life changing event?
>Aw fuck. These guys would SING!
But who in the hell opens a greentext like this? And I had to realize the answer was looking at me in the mirror. And in being this honest with myself, I remembered a few things. Like how I love musical movies. I could actually manage to do this. Might feel like I was being cringe, but I could do it!
The shirts. During the course of King of the Castle, Rarity made it clear she was working on a new school wardrobe for Anonymous. I gave feedback that the crop top shirts should reflect the colors and symbols of the HuMane 7 along with a caption for each girl and ran with it in Duties of the King.

Sometimes when writing a story, it will have some weird rules. At some point I decided that it would give seven(7!)girlfriends more impact if I just committed to writing out number names instead of just typing a digit like a sane person. Meh, sanity is overrated anyway.

Changes to Anon. CB and I are obviously different people (What do you mean only one of us wears glasses?), and the stories we wrote were taking place across different amounts of time. In King of the Castle, it technically takes place across the whole semester, but most of it is on just one night, so CB's Anonymous is a more accessible everyman. Duties of the King drags us across half a semester and we never know when a dull moment might happen the entire time. So I felt I needed to add a bit more to Anon even if it restricted his ability to be seen as a self insert.
Step one, Bullworth was a darker background. When Anon talks about it, it tends to disturb those in Canterlot. So he tries not to, but sometimes it pops up anyway.
Step two, this Anon is a salesman! While this will be bluntly stated in the epilogue, it's sprinkled pretty liberally across the story already.
Step three, combat! Now I DO love a good physical fight scene, but CB makes it clear this Anon can't really fight. That was a challenge for me for many reasons because combat was GOING to happen. Still,.. I think it worked out even if Anon never threw a punch.
The Crusaders were a lot of fun to write here, but I had them practice a combat maneuver and then I cut it from the final fight in favor of "the last singer standing". You wanna see what they were gonna do? Well I'm going to pretend you said yes and tell you anyway!

>The two other girls threw her at Commander Tempest and surprised her. Sweetie Belle connected with her kick and knocked Commander Tempest to the ground with the air knocked out of her. Sweetie belle's momentum carried her a bit farther as she rolled into her landing. There she stood by to help as needed.
>Physically Billy was generally middling amongst the four, but he was also the heaviest. He ran up and grabbed Commander Tempests right arm. He put all his weight on it hoping to immobilize her.
>Scootaloo was the most athletic and certainly the fastest. She grabbed the left arm at the same time as Billy despite starting a couple of steps behind him.
>Apple Bloom was their leader and the strongest. When Sweetie Belle landed and she had a clear target, Apple Bloom leapt into the air and landed on Commander Tempest's chest Hitting her face with her fist at the same time. Several more blows landed until the deed was done and she had stopped moving.

Plot threads left untouched. CB was setting up for two things (at least) that I didn't get to. A singing competition judged by Principal Celestia and Senior Prom with Anonymous and Sunset getting crowned as King and Queen of the Prom.
Obviously I was already doing a lot with music across the story in a more organic fashion. So the singing competition just seemed like a LOT of work that would have less payoff than CB originally intended. Although having said that, I DID have an idea where Anon and Billy would sing "Shut Up and Dance!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXgz440Ti_k&list=RDaXgz440Ti_k&start_radio=1
while dancing with Applejack/Apple Bloom, Rainbow Dash/Scootaloo, and Rarity/Sweetie Belle with each pair of partners having a different dance style. My thoughts were that the Apple sisters would have country square and line dancing with a rule 63 take on the lift from Dirty Dancing. (The girls would hold the boys in the air.) Rarity and Sweetie Belle would get ballroom dancing with shades of Gomez and Morticia Adams. And Rainbow/Scootaloo would get jazz tap. Coming up with ONE idea was fairly easy, but the contest would need several more that looked like they could compete. That just sounded like to much work that could burn me out. So CB is free to pursue his original vision!
As for the Prom, well I didn't have a good idea on how to divide the dances up among the girls. But with the story I DID tell, Anonymous should be a shoe in for Prom King now.

And there's still an epilogue to get done called The Once and Future King which will start by giving our main characters a person by person account of their "Happily ever after" with some comments appended by the Absent Friends! We'll learn about careers, kids, and otters! Even some places will get an entry! Then I've got at least three small stories full of story hook potential. It's gonna take some time to get through this and I hope everyone enjoys the ride!

THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING.

So how did the heroes of the Battle of CHS do after graduation? Let's take a look at the 19 years after shall we?

Anonymous: After school Anonymous went straight into advertising where he was VERY well suited. He always seemed to know how to provoke an emotional reaction. And contrary to what most folks want to think, most folks buy products based on how they feel about them. He interned for the first month without pay and was hired, which was unusually fast. After two years he formed his own company, King of Canterlot Advertising. It was a breakout hit in the world of advertising and clients made their way to Canterlot in hopes he would take their account.
His successful approach was to integrate his wives talents into a unified effort. He networked their efforts into King of Canterlot Conglomerated. And when ever a Green boy and his harem graduated, they were invited to join their business venture ideas under Anon's banner. Anon would show them how to succeed while avoiding easy mistakes and so they prospered as well.
These days, 19 years after graduation, Anonymous sits atop a business empire that could rival large multinationals, but his only sphere of influence is Canterlot. That said, he guards Canterlot very jealously from outside influences. Most large power players in business and politics are content to let Canterlot be his because if they don't mess with Anonymous, he won't mess with them. And even if they could beat him, he would make certain it was not worth the cost. And that's before you add super powers into the equation.
And so Canterlot remains a haven from many modern day woes. While it plans it's growth slower than an outsider might expect, it remains a slice of Americana from times gone by where people will join in a song at the drop of a hat.
>Absent Friends: Man this guy is BARELY within our jurisdiction. Being able to sense emotions is such a small scale power. Sure he technically uses it because he can't really turn it off, but what he has acquired was gotten through skill and careful planning. And any normal person could have done the same. Sure he can technically sense folks through walls but that isn't really that useful to him.

Sunset Shimmer: She went into advertising by Anon's side as a graphical artist with a secret advantage. Her powers let her see in seconds what kind of art Anon wanted and this sometimes saved many hours on projects. This in turn let them work on MORE projects than others at their level. Word soon came from on high that they were a package deal and clients were the better for it. Of course she went with him when he formed his own company and now she commands several teams of artists.
She remains the head girl and many acknowledge her as the Queen of Canterlot. She still knows how Anon thinks and if he's absent, it's accepted he will endorse her decisions on most topics.
Sunset is also the main Equestrian connection for obvious reasons. Her good friend Princess Twilight Sparkle officiated over the public wedding ceremony and many other Equestrian guests were also present.
She has achieved her foalhood dreams! She has power, wealth, influence, and trust. She also has a smoking hot husband who can match her mentally and wants to protect her, her friends, and her city.
Sunset also still supports the girls that gather around the green boys of CHS that declare their intent to share said green boy. They are told the full story of those that preceded them so that they may take their turn in watching for and over the next green boy. Material support in the form of purple drink, shirts and briefs, and greater access to the castle including the legendary "sleepover suite" is given to them.

Pinkie Pie: She was one of Anon's "secret weapons". Advertisers do a LOT of entertaining and Pinkie got all of Anon's business and continues to make sure his parties and negotiations are a success. She supports her friends as well of course. All while helping her foster family. (Yes I'm altering it to foster family because schools need that kind of assurance that a kid isn't homeless and someone is looking after them.) Her biological family prefers to abstain from any blatant support, But Anon has been known to buy large lots from the rock farm before a large family visit so he doesn't place a burden on them with the large amount of folks in his family. He also moves to protect them from any burdensome new regulations in the background.
Surprisingly, Anonymous was able to make a good emotional connection with "Ma and Pa Pie". Even if his own life had gone in a radically different direction, Anon quietly admired and found value in their simple and humble ways and he wanted ALL of his kids to understand that. And the Pie's almost expressed their joy at having so many grandkids/ nieces/nephews.
As an unexpected bonus, Maud Pie was an expert at how to find valuable rare earths!

Applejack and Sweet Apple Acres: Big Mac runs the family farm, but Applejack still likes to help out. Early on, Anon had the idea to make her the official spokesmodel for Sweet Apple Acres. While this didn't amount to much at first, as time moved on Sweet Apple Acres became known as one of America's most wholesome brands. Pretty soon any Hollywood or Hallmark movie set in a small town NEEDED a carton of Sweet Apple Acres Apple Juice somewhere in the background to be accepted by audiences. This may have been a result of Anonymous negotiating, but Applejack seldom cared about those details. Anonymous was a big believer in "A rising tide lifts every boat" and he made certain that the farm had whatever it needed and that Granny got to spend a lot of time with all of her great grandchildren.
These days Applejack still insists on running family errands and has become Anon's de facto "ears on the ground" in Canterlot. Folks will talk to Applejack about their troubles and she tells Anon if any disturbing patterns are emerging.
>Absent Friends: She mostly forgets about her powers but sometimes will use them to repair farm equipment.
>Verdict: Outstanding Citizen.

Fluttershy: She took an aggressive approach about using her powers for profit in TV and movies. Animals can be difficult to work with to the point where pricey CGI was often considered. Fluttershy presented herself as a reasonable lower cost solution that was often able to get animals to do exactly what was required on the first take. Naturally she insisted that the animals were treated well and not asked to do anything that would put them in danger. For a proof of concept she submitted a series pilot for a sitcom about a family of otters residing in a suburban household with human neighbors called "You Otter Know." To pretty much everyone's surprise it was actually picked up for two seasons on the strength of an outtake over the end credits.

>The director is plainly surprised but recovers well and says "Oh hey Malcolm. Is there something with the script you wanted to talk about?"
>To the director's further surprise, Malcolm nods his head, opens the script, and points to a specific line.
>The director notes the line is a punchline and asks "How do you want to change this line Malcolm?"
>Malcolm then stands up on two legs and starts ducking and weaving like a boxer and does several jabs in the air.
>The director says "You want us to punch it up?"
>Malcolm nods
>The director says "Well alright. Let me call the head writer over and see what we can come up with ok?"
>Malcolm nods and several new lines are proposed. Malcolm likes the third one and it turns out to be one of the best lines of the entire episode.

>"You Otter Know" is the darling of America for about a week, but that is MORE than enough to prove that Fluttershy's talent is worth considering. As a result, the animal shelter and Canterlot Zoo are still very well funded almost two decades later.
>Absent Friends: She's open about her powers and sells their use in a limited fashion that leaves both parties satisfied. It's well known she won't stand for animal abuse after some shady folks thought they could sneak it past her and went to jail for their crimes.
>Getting animals to perform for a camera is one thing, but we remember when, after being provoked, this girl took down every drone across a city for several days. She has a very potent power when given prep time and motivation!
>Verdict: Outstanding Citizen.

Rarity: She continued on to lead a major fashion house while still personally supporting her friends and husband. Whatever Anonymous is doing, she insists he look good doing it. Rarity also handles the celebrity and PR side of things for Anonymous. (There's almost always some interview to do or accomplishment to high light.) The trend she started in high school of marking your boyfriend with shirts and briefs is understood across most of the nation even if actual implementation is fairly spotty. (Of course it remains a tradition with the green boys of CHS past a certain point.) In addition to traditional fashion lines like evening wear, she also maintains a line of lingerie for women AND men that is as popular as anything else she makes.

Twilight: Twilight had a different path from her friends in many ways. Where they went to work after graduating, Twilight still needed several years of school to pursue her dreams. Everyone had long understood this well before graduation, but of course Twilight still felt guilty about something everyone had agreed to. But once she was done with school, she was literally free to research and publish on any topic she wished to without any employers making demands.
By this time raising and helping to raise kids gave her the idea to hold several one week summer camps at the castle. Secretly one of these weeks would be kids from Equestria as a form of cultural exchange. This was actually a two week cycle when the Canterlot kids became old enough. The pattern was that the first week the Equestrian kids would visit and the Canterlot kids would help guide them on how they lived and answer questions. Then the second week the Canterlot kids would visit Equestria and the favor would be returned.
Eventually Twilight made some discoveries that could be patented and commercially viable. By the time we get to nineteen years after graduation, she is making half of all earnings. Soon she will be the majority earner but she would never consider forgetting that her friends and husband helped this happen.

Her super science is another force to reckon with! She's working on site to site teleportation and progressing faster than anyone expected!

She would still at least show up for every practice while pregnant unless within two weeks of the delivery date. While she was playing professional sports, one home game a year would be designated "CHS Day" and Anonymous would buy the entire student body a ticket and parking pass for the event. Sometimes, during "Friendship Games" years, Crystal Prep would show up to support the visiting team!
More recently, having aged out of professional sports, she's taken up being a rockstar. Her breakout hit is a power ballad about her aggressively pursuing a shy green skinned roadie on her tour.
Throughout ALL of this she is also a recognizable spokesmodel willing to help her friends and husband in their endeavors as well.

The Two Castles: The first castle is obviously Canterlot High School (CHS). It has physically grown since Anonymous and the girls graduated. This is because Anonymous is beyond generous in funding his alma mater. He also donates to Crystal Prep because Cadence is his sister-in-law, but nowhere NEAR what CHS gets. Anonymous reasons that Crystal Prep has a large amount of affluent alumni where CHS has basically him. Because of this, the school ratings in Canterlot among the best in the nation and it certainly has caused folks to move to Canterlot for their kids benefit. There is almost always some amount of construction going on at CHS because there's to much to do inside of school breaks.
>Also, as time goes on, more and more interested observers are starting to figure out how this green boy harem system works. The interest comes from the fact that the green boys and their harems are invited to live with Anonymous upon graduation and all of them seem to be living the lives of their dreams. When the sixth green boy was found and it leaked the night before school started,... it got a little intense.
>But that was a tempest in a teacup compared to what happened 19 years after Anonymous graduated. For "the seven sons" would be freshmen at CHS that year...
The second castle belongs to the King of Canterlot and those that followed in his steps. This castle came into being two years after Anonymous graduated when he started his own business. It started as a simple desire for a place where Anonymous and his wives could ALL live. (It might surprise you to learn it's difficult to find housing when in an eight person relationship.) And then they realized there were even MORE needs! The Crusaders would graduate soon and face a similar issue. Plus a few of Anon's wives were already pregnant so a housing solution that could also handle children was needed! The result was sometimes called "The second castle to the left". Technically speaking it was a mixed use residential and commercial park. There were large halls that could house comic conventions or fashion shows as needed and many things in between depending on the needs of the community. As a matter of course it these could also function as emergency shelters if needed.
Then there were the castle towers, which were externally fashioned to resemble those of CHS. There were residential towers and a central tower for business. The residential towers were constructed for each green boy and his harem. The physical size was determined by how many members in the harem plus the expected amount of children (Often just a guess there.) Also on the castles grounds were the chief gardener's hut (house) and the much rumored "sleepover suite" which was mostly a recreation of where Rarity and Sweetie Belle lived in high school. And a few secluded camping spots slyly nicknamed as the Crusader Campgrounds.

The Children: The wives of Anonymous all wanted kids and most didn't have a set number of them in mind. And Anonymous set no limits on the total number of offspring, vowing to love them all and citing Ghengis Kahn as an influence. With that said, there were some peculiar patterns with the first and second born of Anonymous.
Each wife had their firstborn in either the second or third year after graduation and they were all girls. In the fourth year, each wife gave birth to a green son. Collectively the second born came to be called "the seven sons of Anonymous". (It was understood this was technically a misnomer because there went on to be many other sons but the title persisted in widespread use.) No one was certain what it meant, if it meant anything at all. But it seemed it was easy for the public to speculate.
After the second child, each wife had children in the patterns of their ancestral families.

Three years after graduation, Wallflower approached Sunset. Her powers had made her life much more difficult and she was very stressed. Sunset brought her to Anonymous and Twilight and together they had some ideas.
Since Wallflower liked plants, Anonymous offered her the job of chief gardener at the second castle. She would live on-site and have expanded access to the castle facilities as well as a decent paycheck. Twilight made certain no big changes could happen to her without being forced to read files to remind you of who she was to them.
For Wallflower, this was a game changer! She had a challenging job doing something she enjoyed and creative freedom to express herself as well. On it's own it didn't solve the human need to be social, but she was used to working with that. Then the kids started growing up..
Wallflower loved playing with the children and helped keep an eye on them from the shadows. She personally thwarted at least 2 kidnapping attempts over the years

>It had been four years since graduation and the Crusaders were just now moved in to the castle. Present in one of the common rooms are Anonymous, Billy, and Malcolm for a new item in their weekly schedule. Male bonding time.

>First thing on the agenda had been a couple of movies. "Aliens" and "Sin City" were chosen because it had been ages since Anon or Billy had seen anything like them. Not only was the ultraviolent content not really loved by their ladies, but the last time Anonymous had watched a full movie was "The Wizard of Oz" back at in Equestria and it had been almost as long for Billy.
>This was just a byproduct of being surrounded by many girlfriends who viewed "Netflix and chill" as an opportunity for intimacy. Or as Rainbow had once put it, "It ain't the movie's climax I'm interested in!"

Now it's time I wrecked you in those flashy games y'like!"] as he tapped his special controller stand.
