Yes, yes, well done Slytherin. Well done, Slytherin. However…

Obligatory "fuck JK Rowling's mouldy cunt" but, everyone misunderstands that part of the books. Dumbledore isn't being unfair at all. The context is that Slytherin has won the house cup for the last SIX years, largely because Snape unfairly gives a shitton of points to his own house and deducts them unfairly from other houses.
Harry LITERALLY defeated a mass murderer at the school so of fucking goddamn course he should get a million goddamn points for that. That's fair as shit, his house deserves to win. But more symbolically, the point of Dumbledore openly fucking Slytherin like this is to send a message "playing unfairly means you don't deserve to win, and it's not acceptable behavior". This is an important lesson because Dumbledore literally just got concrete proof that Voldemort is alive and trying to return, so it's important to stomp on the dreams of the little elitist snake dickheads now before Voldy returns and they all take advantage of it

Surprised I don't disagree with too much here. Mostly just that Celestia is and absolutely Gryffindor-coded. And Cadence can go anywhere that's not Slytherin honestly.
You COULD swop Rainbow and Fluttershy to do a "they're actually the opposite of what you'd expect them to be" story, but MLP's narrative ain't that deep. Lastly I WOULD put Pinkie Pie in Ravenclaw. Don't get me wrong she fits Hufflepuff extremely well, honestly probably better. But Ravenclaw isn't about raw intellect, it's about thinking outside the box, being inquisitive, being a creative thinker, marching to the beat of your own drum etc. Early seasons Pinkie was known for this, and I just the idea of like her in Ravenclaw better. She's like Luna Lovegood.

This thread fucking sucks why are anons so autistic

>>42285348Ravenclaw is full of quirky out-of-touch pseudo-intellectuals, not actual geniuses or true luminaries. Somebody who is truly intelligent would understand that other human qualities such as bravery, humility or ambition are more valuable than grey matter.
>>42285632Someone who is truly intelligent would know the difference between intelligence and wisdom. Self-preservation ultimately is what matters not meme traits from movies or TV shows. Unless you really think "bravery" or "humility" is the reason your degenerative bloodline exists now.
