I've come up with a simple, non intrusive solution to the problem of alicorn Twilight that has been plaguing this community ever since Season 3 ended.
>finale of S3 as we know it does not happen
>in S4 finale, the Princesses decide that Twilight is currently the only most potent and trusted vessel for their magic
>as she absorbs it, she grows wings
>after being successful against Tirek, Twilight returns the magic she borrowed, however her wings do not disappear
>Princess Twilight Sparkle takes place at beginning of S5
>everything else goes on as scheduled (except for school of friendship, because fuck it and fuck everyone involved with it, I can count good episodes from 2018-2019 on just two hands)
I hope more people adapt my mindset. I'm open to discussion.
