Because it's meant to represent the behaviors seen by anons on 4chan. It's a joke about 'what if a 4channer ended up in Equestria'.

I think Anon was originally meant to be a charter like Cartman or Zephyr Breeze. He's not a good person. He's not a person you'd like to know or want to be. But he's a likeable character. He's funny. He's fucked up. He's stupid. He's an asshole. It pokes fun at you and makes for comedy. Assmunch.
