I'd have accepted EQG if it were Umamusume, which is actually horse-activity-focused, instead of just a platform for thirdies to fantasize about an American high school experience.

It definitely would've been a lot more fun if the show followed the lives of horses-who-are-girls instead of girls-who-get-horse-ears. Races, dressage, jumping, archery/shooting, and plenty else not only would've given EqG a distinct feel and identity, it would've been fresh because there really isn't much western horse-related media. It's a real shame we were stuck with yet another high school AU.

Gold Ship has a 99.1% successful breeding rate, to the point where mares who could never conceive get knocked up the first time he beds them. He's also a gentleman and treats them well. He's basically a gigachad in the horse racing world.

Also, most of the Umas are based on stallions because mares tend to not perform as well in races, but I'd rather have horse girls based on stallions than any alternative.
