There was a lot of unfunny trash in the first 10 or so minutes, the bit that was 100% ai generated was complete shit inb4 nooo you HAVE to like AI no fuck off, voices and such are fine but the antithology should be something you actually make, not just sharting text into a prooooooooooooompt to have something diarrhea shart out a video for you ZIGGER, reusing the GO TO THE BATHROOM NOW bit that's kind of old and stale TWICE was a bit overdone. Absolutely garbage compared to the first 2 Anthologies which were barely 20-30 minutes.

The first anthologies had very well synced music videos , the latter anthologies and /mlp/'s version of it are the shittiest Youtube Poops and "nothing happens" humour I've seen.

I liked it. Not as much as I could, but it was pretty good. I am on the boat of thinking purely generated content has no place in it. Searing Skies is a chill dude and all but I am pretty firmly against AI for anything more than a voice changer/tts, especially if it's being submitted to the antithology. Make your own stuff. There needs to be more people willing to critique anons' submissions when they're submitting them. This would get rid of most of the problems I feel, and I remember seeing people say things like "the timing on this just doesn't work" or "this is good, but it really needs to be cut down" a bit more frequently in previous antithology threads.
And if multiple people do the same joke, please pick the best one as thread consensus or warn the poster when they initially post it if they don't realize it's already been done (because I can understand not wanting to watch every clip so as to not have the whole thing spoiled for you).

Some more creative editing could have been used, too. For example, the terry a davis clip could have worked better if it was split up into multiple 5-7 second sections and interspersed throughout the antithology as a kind of running joke (maybe with different pony dance gifs each time too).
Or even as a simpler one, the two riding on Rainbow Dash clips could have been split into three, the first two being just riding her, and the final one solely being the army clips, as a bizarre twist to end the trio. The episode geoguessr clips worked perfectly this way.

I dunno, it could have been a lot better, probably the worst out of them all imo. But hey, they can't all be phenomenal. Til next year.

Also could have done without the gore of the kid getting the piano dropped on him, but that's just a personal preference. I also didn't have much of a problem with the multiple opening warnings, thought they were funny since they were all either different or built on each other, although the final pic could have used a pony image instead of some rat.

Anti Organizer/Editor here. Thank you all for your feedback. Especially this one. I was hesitant this year to exercise editorial control because there was a lot of pushback last year. It is reassuring to see other people say what I'm thinking; a lot of the submissions don't need to run on for as long as they do.
