Why does mlp give me such an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia? I'm not even an oldfag, anyone else feel this way?

I feel this way because I joined after the show ended. Mlp is a show full of comfyness. A fandom so unique that it's loved and hated by many. What an experience it must've been in the glory days. And that's why it's nostalgic. I missed those glory days, yearn for fun/challenging experiences that will never come back. The world's changed, it gets rougher by the day, and I want to feel a sense of comfyness

I never was part of the fandom in the good old days, not because I hated them, I just didn't care to be in the fandom despite giving me happiness. I simply used to see ponies everywhere at the time which also happened to be the best years of my life and youth. So I feel nostalgic as well despite not being part of the fandom.

I was reffering to the show primarily, I do have nostagia for the fandom but the show just has a nostalgic aura about it, especially season 1 with its somewhat washed out colours and such. I'm kinda glad I wasn't into the fandom back in the day because I was a poorfag and wouldn't have been able to go to any cons anyway.

It's pretty simple.
>The show humor and music is very reminiscent of other after school early 2000 shows.
>The colors who are very reminiscent of the toys we used to have as kids.
>The style itself almost reminds of old flash animations we used to see in the early web.
>The naturalistic and magical atmosphere reminding of fruitiger aero.
The show is basically a time capsule to simpler times we had as teens in the early 2000.
