For quite a while I used to comment on three scary game videos and hopes that Markiplier would play this someday but I don't think he ever did.
I really doubt /mlp/ has a high opinion of FNF but apparently story of the blanks has a lot of that game and I've watched the whole thing through and it's actually pretty sick.

Back then people always tried to go for the "Luna Game" appeal.
You know, hide a horrific moment inside a cutesy game. I remember SotB also had a Tumblr, but it never went anywhere beyond the small comic where Ruby saves Applebloom.

Resolution is right for NES but yeah the palette is completely wrong. It'd be impossible to make a legit NES Applebloom that looked remotely correct.

Just noticed that it actually attempts to emulate the NES's 8 sprites per scanline limit, except IIRC on NES the ones pruned will always be the ones on the farthest right and the pruning is done line-by-line instead of entire sprites. So B- for effort I guess.
