Deer are the most sought after tight little bodies by stallions. Not that I would think much of it, I just like to head down on a raft going through the Everfree forest, to wherever it takes us far from Equestria, to lands known by Zecora, where the Smooze once did destroy and roam, ooooh far from Equestira, out to Manebasa-- by the way, in the series finale of Friendship Is Magic, when the smooze is taking over Equestria Twilight finds out what the Smooze is from a book she read about Zebras, because Manebasa was destroyed by the Smooze, a traveller named Dusty Hooves recorded the oral traditions of the Zebras who lost their old land and that's where the smooze song comes from. And that's how they learn the name. Also Applejck and her family decide to take their chances fleeing into the Everfree forest and Rainbow gets mad saying "so that's it you're just abandoning Equestria!?" The series finale is actually so heartbreaking. Everything is being taken over so quick they end up surrounded it's horrible and just filled with despair. Very strange for a kid's show actually.

Sorry, I forgot the point I was making was that the book Stardust stole has an Advanced Spell in it that a Unicorn with a Magic Cutie Mark can learn. Show me my Luck stat dude. Spend all my Learning Points and then roll for Smarts and see if I can learn this or just waste all my points.

Remember that time Hasbro released a "Map of Equestria" and they turned the Everfree forest into this tiny little woodland within Equestria, contradicting Applejack's statements. And then in season 3 because it was already in production Twilight talking about her own amulet tells Trixie "I guess you'll never see the power from beyond the Everfree forest!" Oh beyond the Everfree forest, Twilight? You mean Dodge city? Because according to Hasbro that's what you mean.

I've never actually seen that second one. But it is pretty new probably why.

I actually can't find any good program to make a map so I'm going to just make a bad one in photoshop, doesn't really matter it's just for myself. And in some ways it might be good to not have any map.

Hasbro's map is correct that north of Ponyville seems to be empty fields which sucks it feels like something should be north there. Not Hoofington, Hoofington should be south, Trixie feels like she came from the south, somehow. The strangest thing is that Hasbro put the Everfree forest on the wrong side of the map as if they've never watched Dragonshy, probably because they didn't.

Partly any map would only serve to limit the world.

That's also why I wouldn't really want a list of spells for unicorns. In FiM Twilight learns her spells by reading a book and then she does it and she can remember them. I assume unicorns have some sort of feeling in their horn where they can work with magic, I always liked the idea that mana is a black or blue physical substance so that you cut a wizard in half mana spills out, but that has no relation to MLP. Within the horn Twilight puts together pieces like a puzzle and works through the complex magic blah blah whatever.
It's hard to even read most spell books since they are written in runes, complexly like math equations but not really like math because math sucks and I don't want math to ruin the fun of magic.

If you have a list of spells, oh, let your players go through them "hmmm nice yes and I'll spend points and pick that one." What does that processes have to do with MLP? Find a book. "Then create books." I leave it to the Game Runner to create magic books for players to find and therefore the Game Runner comes up with the magic spell, the weird specific magic spell as most magic spells in mlp are weird specific ones that ALSO sometimes aren't exactly what they seem. That's another reason not to have a list of spells like a dinner menu. Twilight sometimes finds a spell in a book and uses it and something unexpected happens. The description of spells should themselves be vague or riddles at times and therefore in what way you use them might be a surprise which is why you have the Game Master make them whole cloth. Maybe a spell you think will freeze time only freezes you instead.

But too the map maybe you shouldn't have a limiting map of Equestria either, no one knows how big or small Equestria is, it's probably quite small if Cloudsdale makes weather for the whole place as they say, and dragons don't live in Equestria as they say, it's a little ponyland. Fluttershy doesn't even know dragons could talk, isn't that a bit weird because she gets real used to Spike I guess quickly because then she confronts the big dragon and talks to it, but I guess she talks to animals all the time anyways.
In the same way there should be no train in Equestria in fact there is no train in Equestria, Hasbro can do whtever they want, Nopony takes the train to Canterlot in the season 1 finale or season 2 opener or even in first editions of the comics Spike walks there too. It does not exist. It takes about a day to walk from Ponyville to Canterlot, and you don't need to travel with a caravan of ponies or anything, this is Equestria afterall it's safe. Do Dimond dogs live in Equestria, where was that place Spike and Rarity were? It kind of looks like the place she first travelled to when she got her cutie mark and that was across whole deserts and hills.

And the point is that leaves it up for people to imagine Equestria different each time to create interesting stories. Once Equestria is finite and frankly the world of MLP is kind of not that well put together so it's limiting.

Here's the episode: Milky Mare is murdered in Trottingham, the Milk Mare Murder. You have to figure out the truth, and uncover the secrect society in the sewers ooooh "nooo please no secrect sewer society come on." You guys ever listen to Greg's new non-pony stuff, there's an episode where he has these two vtubers in the sewers-- nevermind it's just it's so funny. NO NO! The episode would be called "Spilt Milk" Ooooh yes. Find out how Milky was murdered. Imagine the funeral for her, bury her in creamy milk.

But Trottingham has to be foggy, "why would pegasus make a town foggy on purpose, Dash's line in that one episode seems to imply fog is never wanted" They make fog for the city because it's tradition, and it's good for the plants, sure. It's also located near the sea but that's the thing right, how do clouds and weather from outside of Equestria not come to Equestria I've talked about this look whatever, got a lot to think about with this new Milky Mare episode.

Last thing.

I actually generated another pony, and I still would love a way to generate random pony names for cutie marks but man that would take a long time as I've said. I was thinking her name should be something with "page" in it but I guess Book End is okay. But not really it sounds to serious right? We're talking about a lonely coward. Page Turner sounds male to me.

In almost every background and map Canterlot is shown as just the 1 castle or 1 gate from Best Night Ever, sometimes combined. Never does the map & background showcase that there's a city or how the city is supposed to look like with only towers & carnivals until Sweet & Elite airs.

Legends of Equestria pretty much tries to copy from Sweet & Elite and thus we wake up with the whale airship balloon and they end up separating Canterlot into 3 areas making it look bigger than Ponyville.

And here we have how LoE did the organization for Ponyville by putting sweet apple acres to the left next to the train station and putting the everfree forest to the bottom side. They added a hilltop with a mine cave inside it and they also removed Fluttershy's cottage. There is no Rainbow Dash house, but the other 4 places including a lot of season 2 buildings like the bowling alley are present here. In this version of Whitetail Woods it's a Park that's filled with pine trees and some basic cartoony round trees that are constantly orange. It's also located to the east of Ponyville and it's incredibly small no bigger than Ponyville.

Anyway what I wanted to say about the north empty side between Ponyville, Canterlot, Cloudsdale is that LoE's "team" came up with 1 extra area to fill up the empty space.

Yeah of course Canterlot simply does not look like a city at all. I think it also goes into the mountains and there's a temple actually in the mountains with two guards at the stairs and you walk up and you get to a room with burning incense and a giant stone bed with a gigantic Celestia laying on top of it. The true sun God Celestia who has consumed the power of Luna. See Luna turns into Nightmare Moon when she's evil but Celestia turns into Sunmare... Evil Pony and she makes the sunlight last forever, still with evening and morning but it never dips below the surface the sun you know so it's like the artic really.

That 1 extra area is called Heartlands which is just a green area full of farms and a very small village located inbetween. It's got numerous landmarks on it, but basically it creates some space, removes the verticality and removes the idea that Ponyville is located right below Canterlot's mountain.
The 2nd original team leader behind it wasn't very happy with that decision. There's also a geographic problem with whitetail woods which is located south-west of sweet apple acres yet the teleport is located in the west side and furthermore there's a portal to the left of whitetail woods that leads to the heartlands. That's because the portal was added as an afterthought for farmers to travel faster between heartlands and whitetail woods for the farming patches.

Otherwise LoE copies the season 2 map released by Hasbro.
To be noted in another game called Clockwork Stallions which also copies the season 2 map, the only difference it has is that it puts Froggy Bottom Bog right below the Everfree Forest right below a huge waterfall. Also in it Whitetail Woods has these square mountains with large waterfalls, not peaks but large cubic FLAT sections that can be climbed onto similar to Canterlot City's landscape.

Some of the in-show locations are shown as rather flat and wide compared to S1's more vertical landscape. LoE copied this as well by making everything more flat and wide while also making the everfree forest smaller.

A bunch of areas from S1 can sometimes give the impression of trying to represent Switzerland's geography or an Albert Bierstadt painting, with a lot more verticality.

LoE's backgrounds and loading screen menu also shows this verticality where a lot of areas are clumped together with no transitional area like the Heartlands where Canterlot is right above Ponyville. There's this pixel artwork going around Twitter recently that tries to mimic this, let me see if I can find it.

Also there's this /co/ & /tg/ related media where the castle settlement is located at the edge of this mountain but without a peak instead it's a flat mountain that's covered by an immense forest and on the other side it's giant crevice where the settlement has nowhere to go. I can't remember the name, it will come to me eventually.

North of Ponyville being fields and some small pony things is how it probably is, in the show I'm not sure there is a road north of ponyville, the draong mountain one is north west. You go far enough north west you'll reach Ponytopia, no royals, only free ponies. I'm Pony Johnson, I own the place.

The most important thing, ABSOLUTELY important, is that the Eerfree forest must be the western border of Equestria, this must always be the case. Without that, too many things fall apart. The Everfree is a whole nothing land that leads out into other uncharted unknown lands.

I found some really nice images for the background of my little thing I'm making. Twilight's map is the funniest graphic in the show, having her stare intently at it, "I'll figure out a route for us up the mountain, hmmm, no we want to avoid that." You're looking at a map for babies Twilight! You're looking at a stupid pony's map. Which would be the only type of map that exists in a show of dumb ponies.

Stalliongrad is in a lot of early fandom stuff. Very common idea, and I think a good one. Here's the problem LET ME LAY IT DOWN FOR YOU! Canterlot works because Camelot is already a fantasy place we don't think of it as a real city. Ponyville works, -ville works because you add it at the end of villages. Pegatropolis works because -tropolis is a term to add to the end of cities, Hoofington works because -ington is a term to add to the end of towns. Manehatten Baltimare and Fillydelphia all do not work because it's stupid and makes you think of our world, I don't need to think about our world and our crappy terrible towns, it's not even a pun or anything these names can't exist without the human cities also existing and them being a parody of it.

"-grad" just means city. And so Stalliongrad is pretty almost okay. French exists in this world, Russian too, the russian ponies are out there, somewhere.
