Can't say I agree. As someone watching S4 right now the difference between it and S3 is stark, I cannot begin to imagine lumping the two together.

Ironically 5-7 are the best seasons writing-wise. Early seasons were just built upon fanon to support the characters and lore, Luna is the prime example of the extreme gulf between canon and fanon that occurs early on.

Nah, 6 easily surpasses 7, 6 had far more passion and soul into it and a clear direction which produced better episodes overall. Whether 5 or 6 is better is up to your preferences, 5 and 6 is like the difference between 1 and 2.
