about every other comic is pretty good, you can tell by the artist for the most part. only downside is the post series sequel comic is pretty gay. the holiday special is pretty good since derpy makes a pretty significant appearance. the movie is probably about as good as the worst episodes but tolerable for the music at least. greens and fimfics after that id say

The movie is fine, not great, I don't like how it presents the world, but it's worth a watch. Rainbow Roadtrip is an option as well, it's basically an extended 45min episode.
Give 'Sounds of Silence' from S8 and 'Sparkles Seven' from S9 a watch.
Then commit to fimfics. What kind of stories do you like anon, I'm sure someone can find some longer form stories that can fill the void.

Starlight is super adorable and unf, she instantly became one of my favorite ponies in season six. I didn't think much of Trixie at first until Starlight came along, I love the depth Glim gave her and their friendship is a level of wholesome that the m6 doesn't quite reach.

Sparkles Seven is sorta shitposty but not nearly to the level of Slice of Life. Basically an episode that is about family/sibling rivalries. I ain't gonna say it's some masterpiece, it vibes likes something from S6 or S7 instead of a golden age episode, but it was the very last episode in the show I enjoyed at all (except for StarTrix stuff but you already don't like glimglam so I'm not recommending that).

Everyone is warning you about the movie, and I'm going to warn you about the movie too, but the one thing it does have going for it is the art. If you like higher-budget, fully animated pones, then you may get some enjoyment out of it. It also helps if you like camp, because there's a lot of camp.
