How far does your parasocial relationship with ponies go? Do you imagine yourself hanging out with them? Do you speak aloud to your plushies as if they could hear you?

When I'm feeling lonely and none of my friends respond to me I write letters about my friendship problems to Twilight. I vent to her things that I'm not even comfortable telling my closest friends anymore.

My fantasies have always been more masochistic, so for me it's usually angsty scenarios vaguely inspired by my real life troubles (loneliness, trust issues, etc. slot nicely into a setting about interpersonal relationships). Gives a nice sense of catharsis.

Even as a kid I imagined myself getting brutalized by villains more than vanquishing them. I think I made my OC a royal guard.

Nah I totally get that one. The idea that you could be that far gone but they still see something good in you worth saving regardless and so put in the effort to help you repent from your villainous ways. I wish more HIE stories had the human as a villain so we could see it more often.

Whenever I'm frustrated with an assignment I imagine Twilight tutoring me and her dorky enthusiasm eventually overpowering my frustration after she makes some endearingly unfunny math pun that I laugh at anyways and her smile melts my heart and then I feel calm enough to continue working again.

I wish I could go further down the rabbit hole but I'm doing pretty well with my life.
