Is there a pony Jesus in equestria?

What do you mean by this exactly? Like, are you talking about an important religious figure, or a martyr, or are you asking if there is a ponified version of Jesus "Christ"?

Well I'm sure there must of been martyrs, especially during the three tribes period. But as for super famous martyrs in Equestrian history, I would say it would probably be Star Swirl the bearded or Princess Celestia, but I don't think they fit personally.

Star Swirl isn't exactly well known except for Luna, Celestia, Twilight, and probably some other intellectuals. Celestia sacrifices, yes, but she herself wasn't killed, but is still admired in everyday life for her sacrifice.

On top of that, both weren't killed, so martyr isn't the right word to use for them.

Due to the peaceful nature of Equestria, no one killed, or at least killed in a fashion that would put them in the same class of influence as JC while also being considered a martyr. Still, Celestia is pretty close I think since she has great influence, powers, and inspires people to act more like her, along with her disciples, the elements of harmony, who are against the devil, Nightmare Moon.

Ponies used to live in the same world as human do, that's why they speak English, copy human civilization and use tools that didn't fit their hooves. But humans are too wicked and evil so Jesus create another world for all the magical ponies to live in without being hurt by humans.

NTA but with all respect, I think you're wrong with trying to assess this concept of martyrdom, born from multicultural imperial altar into this completely different, living mythological cosmology of Equestria.

Let God and Jesus stay in heaven of our world, and let Celestia raise the sun in her Equestria.

I don't think they would need one as they didn't fall like humanity did, therefore, they don't need redemtption. But yes, as there is only one God, that's why it is logical they also belive in it. Celestia and Luna are the protectore and manager mini-diety of their realm. But enemy is not lazy around so they have to repell them actively time-to-time untill Jesus sweep out death and darkness completly.

Humanity's holy books have things that we are too stupid to figure out ourselves, like "don't touch dead bodies or you'll get yourself and others sick", and "love thy neighbor". So I imagine equinity has its own prophets and messengers to tell the ponies such obvious things as, "don't venture into the Everfree Forest alone without weapons or else its monsters will kill you". So the wise messenger role is almost certainly there (think about how stupid ponies are, they wouldn't have been able to survive without the cheat code of divine guidance), but the messiah role? No clue how that would work.

A fun implication of this is that Earth's holy books would be mostly but not entirely useless in Equestria, and vice versa.

This dicussion would lead two totally different way whather we consider "holy books" actually transcendent or just aesopish fabulas somewhere between old stories like Odyssey and simple constitution of a state.

Well, Equestrians clearly did not got torn away from transcendent. Even if a child show cannot go into deep details.

I suppose their books might be useful for us as showing a picture of cosmos from an other prospect. Again, you consider these sripts more than old faggets putting down their threads around campfire in the middle of a desert.

Ponies can be prophets, teachers and righteous horse people, and there are bat ponies as horse Jews. I don't think there is an exact match in their history, but some historical bats may get pretty close.
