But we'd also tip BonBon off about a cryptid-related infiltration taking place, so she'd go to Canterlot and meet her old coworkers, only to capture Lyra and save her plot from legal repercussions.
Discord and I would, oopsie-doopsie, accidentally sabotage the entertainment, and would then save the day by bringing in The Great and Powerful Trixie (who please signs up for stage acts on time next Gala). Finally, we'll discover that Discord was supposed to have received his own ticket all along, finally delivered during the Gala by none other than Derpy.
