i got into them when they only had their demo out, then their actual material disappointed me sadly. i missed the rawness of the demo
also this is my first time listening to kid feral but i'm nearly obsessed. found them via the latest Middle Man Records compilation and it was a clear standout
also i downloaded The Foots bc it looks cute, haven't listened yet though

I'm absolutely obsessed with the foots, the vocals are kind of an acquired taste and a bit odd, but I'm a huge fan
I've been trying to dig up everything the main singer has made but some of it is "not even on the internet" obscurity

based on your listens, definitely. I'd start with Gala. I haven't gotten to Bryan's solo works yet, I'm still enjoying Roxy Music as it is; I'll eventually work towards the rest of the band's stuff and then some. I'll rec The Day The Laughter Died by Andrew Dice Clay if you haven't listened to it yet. The absolute GOAT

oh god I went down such a rabbithole with this album a few years ago. there are like 500 million different mixes and masters available and a lot of them sound completely different to one another. apparently the album was originally intended to be quadrophonic and everyone who mixed it down to stereo had a completely different idea of what it should sound like. some versions treat the keyboard as lead and make it very prominent and some have it way lower in the mix and all you can really hear are the guitars

i've seen some Andrew Dice Clay specials, he's brilliant for a while but the character gets old to me a bit. i haven't checked any album though, i'll check it. i like that albums for comedians are basically greatest-hits-compilations lol. thanks for the Lush rec, will check it. the guitarist of my band likes them a lot so i oughta anyhow!
