In case you don't like the other atmoblack stuff, try some melodic black metal, and metal that is not very BM but still quite melodic.

Very similar to the rest of the early Norwegian scene, so you may not like them right away. They have a notable heavy metal influence that they integrate into black metal very smoothly.

Fast, tense, precise, dynamic, and absolutely grand. Non dvcor, dvco is their darkest album, Vltra is mellower and heavily rock-influenced, but Magnificat and Kosmokrator are both bright yet powerful. Listen to the first four tracks of Magnificat, if nothing else.

A benchmark of French/Finnish-style melodic BM which has since been imitated to death. It's a little middle of the road for me, but I totally get why people love it.
