I'll give the real hot take.
Limp Bizkit set the formula for what every nu-metal band should have been. Stupid, silly, for the purpose of partying. The real atrocities of this genre came from Linkin Park, Deftones and especially Korn. A bunch of guys who were 30 at the peak of their fame deliberately making shitty hard rock with emotional appeals to kids.
A bunch of childish musical tantrums from a bunch of pathetic fags who couldn't get over the fact they were adults. "Totally deserving of revaluation"
At least Kurt Cobain was aware of the fact that he was a pathetic manchild who if anything was annoyed by how seriously he was taken

This is made even funnier when Nirvanafags cry about Nevermind being shat on when Cobain himself absolutely fucking hated Nevermind.

I had no idea their debut was the peak of their fame and not their biggest commercial debut which was FTL when he was 27. My mistake.

shut up faggot. not sure how this has any relevance at all, lots of artists peak both artistically and commercially in their late 20s/30s

I wasn't proven wrong and you're not sure because your reading comprehension is that of a Korn fan.

maybe you had to be there but turn of the century the excitement numetal produced was the last time rock had balls and it should be remembered well, if you don't have a memory of an older bro (or guy you knew) listening to Rollin and going apeshit of course you can't comprehend it
